Team Fakiry
Posters next to me understood that i was a team, hope you dont put me away, although i dont mind the number of the team, if you prefer to give another number...
Oh brother... posting before reading the whole forum posts always gives somekind of error. I can see you already gave a team to each mobster and that tourney already started. When i first posted i intended to participate, but i didnt wrote it. You did well in not counting because i didnt told you i wanted to, but i feel sad for not being "playing" with all other mobsters. Good luck for everyone and nice way to join mobsters awood, you did well in creating this event!

Sorry Fakiry but it wasn't clear that you wanted in. You needed to include something in your post to ask for a team. That's why it was confusing for posters after you. Entry is now closed as there are no teams left. However, if you had opted in you would have got France as your team.

All that moaning about the England team going for a few beers, to me it seams that when you wear an england shirt lots of English people then think they somehow own you. Id like to see them all play pissed, that would be a fun game

Only the european teams from the uk have a little chance for the championship. But i think this time new zealand do it after a long time. The real all blacks are on fire

Posted by B1gfoot: Not sure why Ireland got such bad odds, they look good to me. Japan LOL I expect a high scoring England team today, wish it was on the box.
England v Geogia coverage on ITV from 6.30 AM followed by France v Canada and we all know that a loss for France feels almost as good as a win for England (also I've got Canada in the sweepstake )

I'm quite confident we can win this game. Ireland in the quarter finals here we come. come on Wales.
------------ Ah my national team are trying to give me a heartache. Pleased with the result but that really was poor.
A lot of dirty play from the Samoans though. A few missed penalties there I think.

Remember the top two teams in each group will qualify for the quarter finals. Most of the teams have played half of their group stage games but some have faced their toughest games whereas others have tough games to come so it could all change.
saw the France-Canada match this a.m., the outcome wasn't a big surprise. I'll get to see NZ and FR, then NZ and Can. I have a copy of the tele schedule, there are other matches I'll be able to watch. Most of the live games are broadcast here in the wee hours of the morning, some are replayed later that evening. Back afews years I was working out of Joberg SA hauling cargo to Angola. One weekend SA played Eng in an exibition. Didn't see the match, I went to the Hard Rock later that evening, most of them came in to party. Man, these guys are HUGE.

Posted by schwabo: Russia lose from USA,now they must make points from games with Ireland,Australia and Italy
hate to break it to you but they already lost to Italy early this morning 53-17 (9 tries to 3) which puts Russia at the bottom of group c with practically zero chance of getting to forth in that group.

doesnt look very good for australia losing to ireland, but think they'll make through the group stage easily. hopefully they'll do better in the knockout games
