The Great Dane, better known as Gus Hansen, has now joined fellow team pro Tom Dwan and decided to speak out about the Full Tilt scandal and Black Friday. This is what Hansen's agent told the Danish newspaper EB.dk yesterday.

Well after all this time of waiting Full Tilt say it looking forward to a healthy future, and will be making cutbacks on the the Pocket Kings company, id take a guess for myself seen as though everyone is turning their backs on Full Tilt Poker, makes me think that its not coming back the company is dead we can forget about are $ tickets ftps and ironman status such a joke i never thought this would happen to a big company like Full Tilt Poker! i would like to see them prove there innocence i really would cause quite frankly most other site software sucks! but seems to me they are hiding away like the rats with ferrets on there tails

Full Tilt Poker has just become the Lehman Brothers of poker! RIP But i understand Gus feelings. Although im not a pro or anything like it, its easy to understand that pros like Gus were the face of FTP, and now that the company is in trial, their image tends to be also affected. Some other players, founders of FTP, can be disconnected from the scandal, but Gus, which seems apart from direction of the company, his just another one caught in the middle of this. When one is growing up in poker, the dream is to have a company like this behind, wanting to sponsor us, but if something like this happens, although the problem is not the money they achieved for them and for the company (which are different things, should be very well defined in their contracts), their image can get really affected. "Who wants to play against that pro that made part of that company that was involved in that great corruption scheme?" Bad publicity...

@Davoodoo, i think he is trying to clean his image, separating from whats happening with FTP, although being one of the most important team members of that company. One thing is what you do when you are playing, other is the game under the table that looks like FTP was doing. He is doing he doesnt knew anything about it.

It is absolutely unbelievable what happens with FT since a few month´s. The number two of the online pokerwolrd go´s down so easy and they did nothing to give us any informations.

In all honesty, this article should have been appropriately titled: "Gus Hansen's Agent on Full Tilt Scandal" or something to that effect, just to signify that Gus was "speaking" through his fiduciary filter.
I co-sign fulltilt130; Full Tilt had BY FAR the best software and interface in the online poker world. With that said, I still technically "owe" FT $400 (technically more if the money still in my roll is counted) in unprocessed deposits, so I could care less if they ever reboot, because I'd imagine they'd want that money before I'd be allowed to play again, right? lol

I saw a few publicity spots with Gus hansen, and I always disliked them. He has something suspicious in his view. I think he's lying, he's as guilty as the rest of the pros on FullTilt
I like Gus because of his style and I hope that after Ferguson was accused of stealing $24M (GOD DAMN IT!) Hansen won't be... but also I won't be surprised if he also was involved in that whole sh*t.
@KoldShadow - well, it's your opinion, IMO Fck The Players' software was like Smart vs. Bugatti Veyron comparing to PokerStars, with P* as Bugatti of course

come on- who would believe that gus had absolutely no info on this. I mean he was pouring millions of his own cash- do you think he was doing so absolutely without ever getting the info on how the site was run, who were responsible for waht, and what were the chances for his money to evaporate...probably the biggest question here is not if Gus knew about this, but: was Gus involved in this...
