"In an exclusive interview with Jeff Ifrah, a lawyer associated with Full Tilt, Ifrah told that French investors have been working on a potential deal with FTP for weeks.
According to Ifrah, any deal would include full repayment of all player balances.
"I disagree strongly with the allegation that FTP operated as a global Ponzi scheme," Jeff Ifrah also stated to Reuters on Wednesday.
The DoJ has reportedly received a copy of the letter of intent, and the AGCC is also aware of "the pending deal".
However, iGaming is on the other hand reporting, that Full Tilt’s license will be revoked from the AGCC."

As long as the AGCC do not revoke then this should be a done deal by the beginning of October, providing the AGCC accept the investor. Lets just wait for the ruling, I expect either good news or bad news today.

FTP becoming french. At first, it can look like a dumb deal. Who would want a company with so many justice problems? But we have to remember FTP is the second most known online poker room of the world, its a trademark with enormous potencial, it can give a lot of profits to those who continue with the business. Now we just have to know if FTP french buyers would have to pay for the company's debts (all players debts) or if things would be arranged in other way. If they manage not to pay all the player by giving all them permission to continue playing, i believe there would be many people that wouldnt withdraw all the money invested there. Having possibility to continue playing, they would, and that would already work as a profit activity to the new owners.

still no statement from AGCC, maybe they are waiting for the deal to be completed or have given final deadline to fulltilt to fix some issues before they drop the bomb.

Posted by DaCapo71: It seems, that a european investor buy's only the software. After than they give FT a new name and our money are gone for all times...
That wont happen, not before we get paid anyway, if the buy and AGCC accepts.
But some good news the DOJ is to Seize FTP board members’ funds, possibly were most of the money sits, the move includes traceable assets linked to the accounts, I hope that includes homes. boats cars jewellery etc etc, and that money hopefully will go back to FT accounts to fund players, when if bought, if not its still better than what is currently in FTs accounts.
Admin, these FT threads are everywhere any chance one of you guys could do a round up or have 1 FT related thread? Just general cliffs leading to current situation will do.

It was supposed to be one day deal, now we are up to 5 and no results yet. Just rumours from various sides. If the gaming control revokes the license permenanetly it will be a very bad thing for the whole story.

Indeed, a revoked license would be a very, very bad thing for fulll tilt poker because in this situation pocket kings would only sell a poker software and not a poker platform...
Lets hope that this info has a bit more true than other investor related news, and th ftp situation will eventually end.
Still, i don't think the us players will ever get their money back, i know it's sad but i think this is the truth

If someone has ever wondered if you can kill a word, the answer is yes. I did it in the above post (permenanetly) I was reading Macubaas post when my eye spotted it by accident
