Would you ever go to a poker site and ask someone you don't even know for some money ? This just happen to today I sitting a at table with 6-7 player's we all have $2,500 or more each and some one not even at our table . say's hay can I get a $100 so I can try out this site it is my Birthday. Nobody said nothing to him he stayed watching us for about 20-30 min so I gave him a $100 to leave . He was talking to much ..

Ok are you serious or just joking here? I see people asking for money on poker sites all the time, ultimatebet is ridiculous for it but they ask for like 5 bucks and stuff your saying you gave someone $100 just to leave?

I've had that happen on full tilt and pokerstars many times, never gave the person any money and they were even asking for only 5 bucks or so, but i dont have much money so its not like i can really spare it...
By the way you really gave him the $100!!?? if you felt that generous I'm always open to charity... lol and I am not a pain like that fellow... lol

Zon, I once gave a person around $1,000 in a tournament here in Brasil. He came up to me saying that his dream was to participate in the tournament and how he had waited so long to make this dream come true but couldn´t and bla bla bla. So I provided his buy-in. Guess what, this same guy came ITM and offered to pay me back, I denied of course, since I too came ITM. Well, this gesture made me a really good friend who I speak to every week about poker. I also helped start a great carreer, he´s doing great!

wow fodz thats a lot of money for me to just give away, For me to give away that kind of money i would have to completly trust the person and know by which means they were able to pay it back cause as i said i cant afford to just give it away. It sounds like your a good guy man

You see, for me it wasn´t about the money itself, but it was about helping somehow a person to fulfill a dream. Of course it was inside an environment which I could see the person and what she was doing with the help I provided. It wasn´t a random person I would never see again, you understand? So I guess that influenced a bit on my decision of helping. If it was a person on the street asking for $1,000, I would probably pay no greater attention, but because it was inside a poker event and atmosphere, I was willing to give it a shot.

I understand what you mean fodz i guess it all depends on the scenario or place at the time. I still think it was trustworthy and kind of you ... hopefully one day someone will do the same for you if needed.

I guess its out of desperation or something i dont know. We cant actually see there face so obviously there is no shame in begging for money on apoker site so maybe thats why.

He's just begging all day long at every poker site he come across, ive met him a couple of times and he always start hay can i get some $ so i can try out this site it is my Birthday. I think its the same guy. But it is still kind of you, i would never give him anything when begging like that
