Yeah! There are harldy any players on the site, and no decent prize MTT's either, also alot of tournys get cancelled after they "guarantee" a prize pool

I think this type of thing is inevitable for a new starting poker site. Unless you have spent lots in advertising before opening its hard to begin with a big amount of players. It may get shorted in the future though. Or it might fall in the category of the ones closing before even some realise they were open in the first place

lol, seriously, every room started small. Many new rooms that aren't part of a network die relativly quickly, but tbh I see potential in this room. They do alot of stuff to work with the big affiliates that will get them more players.
If they keep adding new promotions, traffic will pick up over time. I will definitely keep playing there from time to time (my main site will remain stars obv. cause of the low SNG/MTT traffic there, but if I'm in the mood for some cashgame grinding, this will be the place )

I did play a few hands yesterday, (making a massive .50 c on a .1/.2c table, which was the only one avaliable), and on the upside, I like the software. But, as people have written before me, there is not much traffic.
It must be a real uphill starting a new pokerroom today, without belonging to any etablished network. But hey, hope they make it.

they are the only site in their own network. i think i'll wait before they gather substantial traffic to consider joining them

I'd suggest you to better join them as fast as possible. As traffic grows they will probably lower the value of their promotions. Besides, since there are lots of no deposit players playing there right now the site is probably right now as soft as it will never get again in the future

Fresh poker sites are heaven for the type of players that are looking for free money and hunt online pokerpromotions
For experienced players that already have a solid bankroll, a poker site with lots of traffic is what they are looking for sine they need to find weak players in order to make profit...

I disagree,especially on the 2nd part.
ALL poker players are always looking for free money, not just players without a BR. I once told my coach (he is highstakes SNG player) about bonus hunting. Hunting 1st deposit bonuses for example obviously increases your winrate and is basicly free money. Obviously he did it and over the next few days he cleared 2 1st deposit bonuses, giving him free $2K basicly. So you see it's no just new players taking advantage of that stuff.
The 2nd part as well. I play on yachting right now (cashgames at least) because the site is a pure fishlake right now with all the players that play there with their no deposit bonuses. To say bigger sites are fishier than this is not just wrong,it's totally mis-informative. Sit on a NL25 table on Pokerstars and the usual table will by now have 5 TAG players and one fish. @ yachting there are tables with usually 3-4 fishes sitting on every limit (no matter if you play NL2 or NL25).
I can assure you I would not be a winning player on Stars @ NL25,my biggest skill is my push or fold play and that is obviously made for turbo SNGs and MTTs,not for cash at all,but what I can also assure you is I made quite a decent chunk of €'s at yachting so far. Just shows how fishy it is. Obviously you still have to be selective about what you play (even with few games running),some people realized the same I did and also deposited there and take advantage of the immense rakeback plus that the site is a big fish-factory right now, these players I'm obviously trying to avoid.
And yes fyi I do have a "solid bankroll",but that shouldnt ever keep anyone away from hunting free money to take from fish and promotions, otherwise you may as well just say you hate making money

Yesterday i went there but i still didnt had my bonus available, i only asked for it on saturday, so everything is natural, but, taking in consideration the freeroll i've played, i dont know if its honest to pass such a bad image from them. A new site doesnt come around offering pokerbonus and suddenly becomes full of players, that doesnt happen. When there were few companies, they managed to get a lot of atention, publicity and, once the online players didnt have where to choose, they ended up alll in the same rooms. Now that we have a big offer, things are different. Its like watching tv: you are used to see those same 3 or 4 channels although you have 100 to choose. Your parents were born with black and white tv with only 2 or 3 channels, and perhaps they only used one that, in many cases, its the only one they continue to watch nowadays. For a company to atract more players, it has to work a lot, having a good offer, and things like this doesnt happen from night to day. Give them time, we are the first going there, and then more will come, and perhaps in the future this can start to be a good place to play any time during the day.

Well, low traffic but the site and software seems to be okay as far as I understand it from all these comments. Maybe I will have a look at it with the free € 5 and then decide to make a deposit or not.
