Just basic simple 5 tips to be from break even to winning or from losing to break even.
1. Think position, better play 5Js in late then A9 in early. 2. Defending your blind to the max is so overrated. 3. Tighten up your call range and make your shoving range wider. 4. BRM obviously, i know boring..... 5. Play the stakes that you beat, not the stakes you can play according to BRM.
Edit if you like
------------ 6. In general: If we enter a hand RAISE, limp is for donks.

1 Position is very underrated and very hard to remember when in the middle of the action. It's so tempting to raise with AJ utg even when 9 handed. You haven't been getting cards for a while. You look down and see a pretty hand and you just want to play. But then you curse yourself when you get to a flop with an Ace and you're first to act. And you get raised by a player who could easily have two pair. Then you remember why position is key. When it's too late.
2 very very true. The big blind is something everyone pays so it's best not to think of it as yours once you've put it into the pot. It's ridiculous how many will raise with junk from the big blind cos they don't want to lose chips in a hand they aren't involved in. You'll lose more if you play every big blind position.
3 Or play TAG as I believe it is known. Kinda depends on the range you already have but this is definitely good advice for most beginners.
4 Too boring. I have to admit I don't play very good brm, though I know I should. I've lost my bankroll far too quickly too many times but micro stakes are too unpredictable, I'm prepared to lose my small bankroll if needs be and who has time to grind away to win 15$ a week. lol
5 I assume you mean drop down stakes, play lower stakes than what your brm says if your losing it too fast. But I read it differently. see above.
6. limping is definitely a donk move but that implies a call or min-raise usually in early position. I have limped myself in the past but please don't tell anyone. Anyway there are occasions to enter a hand by calling but usually only when there has been a raise or when there are lots of limpers already. Although if there are many limpers sometimes it pays to punish them by raising, most of them will be weak and have to fold.

Pretty good observations in general if you ask me, and i'm not even a tournament player.
Still, i only disagree the bankroll rule you posted, if you play out of bankroll is possible to lose it all before beating a limit considering mtts have such large variation...
