I am getting very very concerned  0
We've all seen the rants and claims that poker is rigged and I've always had an open mind as to whether or not its possible to rig poker online.

Anyway, last week I was playing and for some reason decided to give the HU matches on Pokerstars a try. At first things seemed to be going badly but then I hit a winning streak, and believe me what a winning streak it was. It got to the point I was calling all ins with absolutely anything knowng that I'd win.

5 3 beating AA. Q 3 beating KK, 9 9 beating JJ.. it went on and on. I couldn't lose. I was hitting one outers, two outers. It didnt matter.

You wanna know how much I won in less than an hour ? I took over $1500.... In the end I played a $500 HU match, all in first hand with 8 2 and came up against 88.. what happens. I flop trip deuces...

Anyway, deciding enough was enough after hitting $1500 I decided to get the hell out of dodge city and cashed out $1200...

Well I am back down to $400 so went back down to $7 HU matches, and things then went amazingly the total opposite way. AA, KK, JJ, QQ I couldn't hit a thing.

AA - Flop A J 3... I shove after the flop, he calls with Q 10 and hits the K on the river.

KJ - flop A Q 10 rainbow.. He shoves all in I call. He's got Q 9 hearts. Runner runner hearts. I am gone

10 10 - flop 7 7 10. I bet he shoves.. I am in heaven I think I've got him with the boat. Lo and behold he's got 7 7,

It got ridiculous. I was able to predict what cards people had. This was typified by a PLO8 ring game. I have A Q 6 2. It limps round to me on the BB so I check. The turn comes 6 6 A I've hit the boat.. The spanish opponent bets pot, so naturally I re-raise. The chips all go in for £200. He turns over A K K Q. Sure enough he hits runner runner Kings and I knew it was coming......

The bottom line is it got so predictable I turned off and won't go back because the way it was going was so comical I was telling opponents what they had and what cards would come to KO my nuts hands, and sure enough it would happen. Even the opponents at the table started to get suspiciious when I could tell them that I had a set and they'd hit their flush draw or gutshot straights...

I seriously now believe that I win when PS wants me to win and if they decide they want me to lose, then I lose...

You maybe think I am paranoid, but it worked as much in my favour.. I was hitting anything I wanted every hand. When you can shove with 8 2 offsuit in a $500 HU match knowing you will win then you kow something is wrong.

Try using your brain halfwit..

I had $100 to start ( what do you think I was playing with ? Fresh air )

I win $1500... that makes $1600 ( even someone of your limited intelligence can work that out )

I then cash out $1200...

That leaves me how much ?????

Next time use brain before speaking.. it usually helps,

No. this wasn't poker.

Usually people rant when they lose about it being rigged, but on this occasion I could have called with anything and still won.

This is a case of someone winning and thinking something wasn't right... I mean come on, 8 2 offsuit in an $500 HU game and lose to 8 8... Why would I shove with 8 2.. because I knew I would win no matter what I was up against.

I am going to go one better than that.. I am going to get my hand histories from PS to prove to you what I was saying is true..

They will email them to me and I'll prove you are wrong to call me a liar..

People who know me on here know I don't BS anyone. I've been on here for a long time, and have run my own forum and many on here have been members.

The one thing I never do is BS when it comes to poker....

A small sample of hand histories isn't going to prove anything dude, poker is a game of math - where one hand is a favorite over another by xx%. That means the person with hand a will win xx% while the other person will win yy%. It doesn't necessarily mean that these % chances will balance out right away. Sometimes you'll experience a wider swing called "variance" where you'll either win more or lose more in any given situation than you should. I assure you, over time the math balances the variance out.

If you keep shoving 82 with that "ha ha ha I can't lose" attitude, I guarantee in the long run you WILL lose Smile

Poker isn't rigged. Variance is the only sure thing in poker, and it rewards those who play good and crushes those who play bad over time.

Oh and btw, playing a $500 heads up math with a $1500 roll? That's bankroll suicide man.

@ fcumred
i dont doubt your story ( considering your rep here)

but i do think you are over-reacting, such a small sample of hands aint gonna prove anything.

regarding your 82 donk move - how many times hav you gone allin in past, thinking the same? if u win one time doesnt mean that it is rigged

and if u think u got sixth sense about your hands, then dont think u should be complaining Big Smile

just relax and play Blink

edit - and what you experienced ( except ur sixth sense obv) is totally within limits of mathematics and would be rigged if this doesnt happen to some1 (considering the large no of players)

I'm fairly sure it would show him winning what he said he won, I don't doubt that.
I played a game (HU NL25) a few days back, and I was on fire, I thought I was playing a donk who could not fold etc etc... I was thinking wow I'm plaaying good, so looked over my HH for that game to find that I was lucky as fook, hands like villins set on flop with me with TP to river higher set, rivering FHs against flushes, nearly every hand I won I came from behind...I took almost 3 stacks via luck, some days are just like that, but few and far between.
Just a lucky winning streak IMO.

Yeah it does happen for sure, not denying that, that OP then apparently started losing is just reasonable as well because it's simple math that you will run bad sometime after you ran hot,the only thing I can't believe is how would anyone do this move and shove 82o in a $500 HU? You cant say "I knew I'll win",that's bs,everyone knows a luckstreak ends sometime, and I dont think (unless someone who can afford to lose 500 bucks easily) would rely on the fact that he sucked out lots on previous hands

This is EXACTLY what it was like, and I've never seen anything like it. First it went in my favour and I was hitting runner runner, coming from behind every single time. At first it seemed like me being lucky, but then it started to get too suspicious.

Every single hand played seemed to have bits and bobs that both players had a bit of, usually with him having a better flop than me, only for me to come back on the turn and river.

Then of course it went the other way. Every flop I connected with. They'd be behind and come back on the turn and river, and with the cards on the flop I could almost determine the hand they had.

A classic was I had 66 in a 9 man 25NL ring game. Early position raise, so I flat call. The BB flat calls. The flop comes over 6 9 10. The early position player c-bets and I am pretty sure he's got something in the range of JJ, QQ or at worst AQ, AK.. So I re-raise. The BB folds and its HU.

With the flop as it was, there was no way I could see myself being behind. He then moves all in and I am sure he's got an over pair. I don't see him having 99 or 10 10 as my notes on him said tight and likes to limp with middle PPs.

I call the all in and imagine my shock to see him turn over 7 8 offsuit.

Now come on, a tight player who never raises usually with anything other than premium hands, and he hits a perfect flop like that against a set. Of course no help on the board.

One minute thats exactly what I am doing, hitting everything, the minute I cash out it then goes the other way and they hit the perfect hand, usually coming from behind and with the hands I have theres little or no way I can fold.
