If you lose with AA 80% of the time, then try to defend them more, and bet earlier in the hand. AA usually make you win small pots, so try not to lose big ones with it

Really all depends on the sample size, like everyone says.
I´ve been on a losing AA (and KK) streak for over 2 months...BUT.... I played tournements, and not that many, max 2-3 tables a few times a week? Always pre raise and all-in on the flop if I can get someone to go there. Never a river or turn bet loss. (I was getting paranoid and wanted the money in fast..before someone hits trips or something.. )
So let´s say I lost with AA 15 out of 20 times (and it was at least that)... it´s "unusual", but it can happen statistically, no problem there.
What it does is make you CRAZY !!!! And it screws up your game so that you start playing a "defeatist" kind of Poker, and that makes things worse.
Final comment, it the "sanple size" that counts, anyone can go on a downward "varience" streak.

Heh heh, well said Island Jack, we should definitely avoid another long verbose conversation on LNP, that horse is well beaten (actually, that guy was posting pretty regulaly, I wonder if he's lurking around waiting to star it up again?).

@BeMy Believe me i have done this and the stats are more like the same. I lose 60-70% of times when i go all in preflop with them. In the last 2 weeks i have lost 7 out of 10. And its not the first time. I usually count them on tens and see how many times i win. (about a year now) Best one was 2 losses in 10 and worst 8 losses in 10. But as i said average is about 60% loss. Thats one of the reasons that when im on a tourney close to the money or in bubble i dont call all in or go all in with them preflop. And believe me i have been paid more that way I have lost many times while 10 more players need to go to be in the money. Sometimes was necessary the all in in order not to get blinded out, but the others it wasnt I was just greedy and wanted to go deeper in the money. And of course i have lost in bubble too with aces more than once

Hi all!
80%? Are you sure? As you say I find it quite incredible. I'm not saying it is not possible, but I see most probable that your HM (or similar) is kidding you .

i lose with aces post flop 100% of the time because i still go all in when theres 4 to a flush and i dont have 1 of the suit with 5 people left to act behind me.... does that make me a donk

Posted by frontiere: BAD PLAY WITH AA ?? Maybe after river , i say in all inn preflop AA i lose almost all the time on pokerstars
------------ thx i lose with AA in all inn game preflop
there are severals reasons for which this happens:
- cheapleaders always win allins - tournament or sng's has to finish in shorter time possible - you withdrew your money from that pokerroom in recent times - pokerrooms create their own accounts to collect cash from random players - some sessions are predefined and it is written you will lose (in these occasions you simply have to close the software, cancel cookies and start pokersoftware again; and the trick is done)
