I was just wandering if anyone else has this problem that I have. I will play really well the first three or four hours I play. Then it all goes down hill. I know the obvious solution is quit after three hours.

All I know is that whatever goes up, must eventually come down. If you apply it to poker and good runs, you are bound to go downhill at some point. My suggestion is your answer, if 3 is your turning point, you know what to do! Good luck.

The same thing happens to me, so as soon as I start playing bad than I quit. Sometimes I just run bad but I got to quit after that cause I just go on tilt.

What I use to do is play more when I lose, cause I want to win my money back lol and as soon as I win I take a break but I know I should do the opposite now.

Let me ask do you start off at higher money table's then if you lose go down to a low money table ? Cuz if you do the lose of money is what is getting to , Making you call dum cards trying to buy the pot not winning the pot .And if you are jumping around from table to table that cuold be it to .Be the frist one at the table so you set the game not them . And and just play pair's and paint cards.

I think afeter playing for a long time you start playing hands that you wouldnt have earlier that session and dont relise that your doing this , its all because yuor concentration is going and your curiosty is setting in so when you feel your bankroll is dropping leave try another site or wait till another day, GOD I WISH I COULD LISTEN TO MY OWN ADVICE I WOULD BE S**T HOT THEN

We all have the same issue, sometimes its 3 hours and sometimes i can play all day. I decide to take a break when i see im playin passive game. Break is not some 15 minutes but at least 2 hours. Nice meal and movie, documentary or something, even short nap. After that i get back to tables.

I think that in my case, It will depend on how I am playing, and how I am doing profit wise. If I am winning, especially in MTTs I can play for the 5-6 hours until the tourney will be over.
However If I have played 5 SNGs in a row and got bad beats or not cashed etc, then I tend to either tilt or just play generally bad poker, so with me it mostly depends on how well the night is going in terms of how much I have made or lost.

I always play much better at night, Im more patient and can play tight. During the day i might try to rush through hands because Im in a rush. So I think yes the time of the dya can affect your play

i can't play any more than 2 or 3 hours after that my concentration goes away and i think about too many other things and that affects my A-game so i mostly stop after 2 or 3 hours and take a break

naa dude, i payed all my bills and i can afford to eat, but overall im kinda poor, poker is my last option to stay alive untill the end of the summer when im going back to school to become a welder. living on poker when youre a "half pro" is a very risky buissnes i tell you but its the only opption i have right now or ill end upp on the streets

I usually play an hour or so when i come home and then for 2-3 hours in the evening when given enough time Never did more than 4 but that was the point where i was playing under the impression of earlier badbeats, meaning somehow "weaker". Guess its good to pause after awhile
