I just remembered one thing and I think it is VERY important! Memeber JVD1986 is possible scamer! Here are proofs: In cople of treads that have been here lately (locked treads) this guy offered money exchange from Poker stars and 888 to High pulse. Nothing strange. HOWEVER, this guy is famous here because he opened this tread: Ask your questions to an ew poker botter http://www.bankrollmob.com/forum.asp?mode=thread&id...
Now, he offered money on 888 for HP money and there is real problem. In one tread he offered that same money to me! After I asked him he admited that that money IS NOT CLEAN!!! That money is earned by BOTING!!! And now he offers that same money to others without telling that that money is not clean! If you already made some deal with this guy STOP IT! There is big chance that 888 will ban you if that money came to your account and you try to withdraw it!

well, I can arrange the same thing for 888poker, I am willing to axchange 888 cash for pokerstars cash, lets say 1$ 888 for 0,50$ pokerstars.
Ill take that. How much money we are talking about?
------------ And is your money on 888 clean? Dont drag me into some problems... Better question: why are you offering this? why you just dont withdraw?
I ask from admin to ban him since he tries to use this site to scam people! We can forget about him later And he can try to fuckover somebody else later! We dont want cheaters here!
------------ Also because of him some trustworthy people will have to do such transactions for various reasons but that will be imposible with scamers like this one on forum!

This is exactly why we don't want to be dragged into such money transaction issues. We can spend all day playing Judge Judy and figure out what's what and who's who.
It's simple: If you make a money transaction directly with someone, where one has to pay the other first, you run several risks (not getting the money, being connected to a possible fraud/scam account, etc).
Be wise and don't get involved unless you're ready to face the possible consequences.
We are currently discussing it internally in Mob team if we should continue to lock "money exchange threads" or just let it run its course and let people be their own judge about it whether or not they want to participate.

No, I think there is no need to continue locking this treads in future because there are some situations where is usefull to have that option. For example, I was unable to withdraw from UB since I cant do wire transfer (banks in my country dont have SWIFT code) and they removed Moneybookers from cashout options. So I sented to Flippedchips UB money he withraw it and santed me PS money! But you can BAN all scamers! Its clear that this guy is scamer since he ADMITED that his money on 888 is dirthy (earned by his sister boting) and later he offered that same money in exchange for HP money without warning anyone that money is dirty!

So wait a sec...after all the flame wars...you mean I was right about jvd1986 needing to be banned all along? Get outta town. Who woulda thought that an admitted botter would be a bad person to have around the forums. *roll eyes*

Not sure there's much point in asking the admin to ban people, they can just create a new account in a few weeks and then go right back to it.
As Tony said, their job is to provide good offers and moderate the forum not police funds transfers, so let the buyer beware.
@jovi: I agree with you we should not allow him to transfer bad funds, so we should try report it to the poker rooms to sort out and be ready to warn people if he opens new threads, and let the admin focus on his duty. The community can handle itself I'd like to think.

yeh but they can use the same e-mail that normally is the one u use in poker sites, sportsbook etc,so if being banned thay cant ask for promotions in BRM.

I think what you're saying is: If he's banned at least he can't participate in BRM offers.
If that's what you're saying why would BRM want to lose a customer. BRM is a poker affiliate. Just because the guy's a D-bag doesn't mean BRM should lose out. That's what admin is saying, it should be your risk and your loss if you get scammed on a transfer, not BRM's.
Sorry that it happened to you.

I think botted money is a big deal, since the buyer can potentially lose his money due to your possible foolishness. I'm not saying the money you are trading is botted, because I have no knowledge of it. But if it were botted, it could spoil a deal, because it is against poker sites rules and regulations.

Posted by jvd1986: Im not a scammer, he will get his cash before the end of tomorrow
Why do you think im a scammer??? Iv always been open and honest in this forum about pretty much anything
Doesnt matter if its dirty, its money all the same, an approved transaction cannot be unproved. Besides, he got a good deal with a 1:1 ratio
I think that because money you give to him is money he can lose if 888 investigate from where that money came from. Plus I havent seen in tread where you offer exchange for HP cash you mentioning that that money is dirty...

not gonna comment on ban/lock, its tony's decision. though jovi does have a point that these transactions are helpful in some genuine cases. but sad thing is the way some people have turned up to help the high pulse scammers in order to make a quick buck themselves

as far as i am am aware a poker bot is not illegal, i did a lot of reading up on poker bots when i first started playing online and neary every article i read stated that a poker bot is not illegal , something to do with programming it , it stays to a set format, and can be beaten so is not illegal (not sure how true this is though) unless it is a stand alone poker bot, 1 that learns ,adapts, and adjusts without being programmed, has anyone else read anything like this?? , i wasnt sure at the time if these articles were written by the same ppl who write the bot scripts, and if so they would say that , definately immoral though but such is life

There are no laws defining poker bots as illegal if you speak in term of juridiction. However I'm pretty sure it is considered illegal (as in : breaking the rules and not tolerated) by poker rooms.

Using Bots is not allowed on just about all poker sites. Their "Terms and Conditions" state this specifically.
An excerpt from Pokerstars for example:
5.6. AUTOMATIC PLAYERS (BOTS). The use of artificial intelligence including, without limitation, "robots" is strictly forbidden in connection with the Service. All actions taken in relation to the Service by a User must be executed personally by players through the user interface accessible by use of the Software.
Very clear statement. The same goes for the other online sites.

Poker bot is not illegal?? Maybe not in your country. You wont go to jail. However it is not alowed in poker rooms! Its purest and most common way of CHEATING and if you have to do anything with it poker room will CLOSE YOUR ACCOUN permanently! You did reading? Read it again! I hope you payed more attention to poker strategy. You will lose lot of money if you paid same attention...
What is matter with all of you who voted no??? You want guy like this to screw you over in future? OK. I needed to give a warning...

lol if we as members get to choose who is banned and who is not then please let me know cause I have a couple in mind
Tony and Mob-manager are fully capable of making decisions on who stays ,( look back over the past few years of posts on who got banned and why).
Not to sound that I don't get what your saying but IMO to start a thread,( not Tread ), saying someone needs to be banned is out of line.
This forum is dramatic enough at times without out in out saying that someone needs to be banned.
Just my thoughts .

I also fully believe that all posts on trading money should be blocked. If people want to do that off site then that is your option but I do not think that BRM needs any bad "publicity" over people whining about being taken.
LMAO after all every time a new NDB offer comes up there is already plenty of threads bitching ...
