That's actually a good idea BeMyATMPlz, implementing a minimum thread count would probably help out. One thing though, I imagine the forum may see a lot more jibberishy spam then. Even if it's not an official rule it just makes sense to only deal with reputable individuals.

The simple way to deal with them is to not deal with them. If you have money, why are you bothered if he does not? how is that your problem, OK want to be a nice guy, NICE GUYS GET SCAMMED, suck it up, want to make a quick $ LOL, play a DoN. So far the people doing the transactions seam to be the ones crying about getting scammed, well, Iv said it before, LOL and HA! But its small ATM, wait until you build up a little trust, start swapping a little more than, BANG.
Tony has said, "at your own risk", nothing to do with the site, if you get scammed then the scammer should not be banned as its nothing to do with the site.

+ 1 plus used to be a nice guy once, but it all changed when i got kicked in teeth a few times ( not literally obv)
good thing like b1gfoot said is these people are lucky, they only had to deal with small time scammers who do scam the first time rather than a 'scam artist' who 1st builds trust and then BAM
dont wanna beat a dead horse but anyone who was here when flangel used to be a member knows better.( dig up old threads if u want)
but if u STILL wanna take risk and do transfer then dont come here and cry 'scam' tony has more imp things to do than 'playin daddy'

I think it's kinda funny that some people just send 75 euro like its nothing and hope they get money back. While they know BRM Staff see swaps as a grey area for now.

if you get involved in these money swap transactions you know there's a risk before you start,so if you do get scammed then its your own fault......simple!

Whats more funny is all of you whining when someone yell scam, while you accept the scammers is still operating in unclosed trading threads. Funny that its not allowed to point out a scammer while he/she still post in the threads about trades... Dobble morale? So people who gets scammed here basicly have to suck it up, lay back and see the next victim being scammed. Because your not allowed to point him out when he ask for more victims.
And i didnt get scammed, i just find this morale odd, accepting that trades can be at your own risk. But if something goes wrong, keep it quiet and dont share, oh no no no thats bad.. Its even worse than the scammer. Leave the scammer alone, your worse because you let him... What kind of thinking is that

Personnally I would just forbid any trading / transaction thread. Just to definately deal with the problem and I guess there are other specialized forums that specifically handle such transactions.

although my opinion is that it shoudnt be allowed, and for many reasons which I dont want to go into now.
But in the end only the management here can make the decision to stop it or to let it carry on, has I said many many reasons to stop it the management will know most of them.
I am in full support for stakes being taken that is the heart and part of poker, but this should be governed by the site were all transactions are controlled.
I will be putting up a new post shortly concerning staking other players.

understand your concern amd partly agree with that. it's upto tony to decide whom to ban/not. i personally dont like to point fingers at anyone
as for people saying they got scammed, people can get money and still claim they got scammed.
tony has said many times, dont trade here regs (inc me) hav also posted many times - dont trade, it's at your risk. and if you wanna trade pick up a reg member. (obv there's no guarantee that reg will not scam.)
but people decide to be 'genius', ignore all the warnings and decide to take the risk.
now when they get scammed, i dont see why should i be bothered.

I was looking to trade money becoz its lot more easy to make money in HP than stars. I have money in HP and not in stars. Im a freeroller and never deposited in any of the poker sites. I would love to make a deposit and do the cashout myself. But can not due to you know my financial circumstances. Thats why i was trying to get some money on moneybookers so that i can make the deposit and cashout myself in future. As for the two accounts in MB thats bcoz i was unaware of such a restriction. Nothing illegal about my poker accounts though.
Posted by BeMyATMplz: It shouldnt be forbidden, but it should be made clear that such trades are done at own risk and that BRM won't do something about if someone scams (except banning the scammers). There should also be a minimum post requirement to be able to post in trade-threads
Agree with 100% of what you said.
P.S. I feel sorry for you godofcricket, now you're gonna have a hard time trusting people online because of one rotten apple...
