"PokerStars Team Online player, Randy "nanonoko" Lew, is the new APPT Macau Champion. Lew outlasted a total of 575 players to take down the first prize of ~$484.000.
According to Hendon Mob, Lew had earned around $117.000 from live-tournaments before capturing his first major live title today.
Lew is best known for his online name "nanonoko", that he uses when he is playing the highest stakes at PokerStars. Lew has made millions of dollars while multi-tabling the cash games at PokerStars.
Congratulations to Randy "nanonoko" Lew for his first major live title!
APPT Macau final results, all payouts listed in Hong Kong Dollars (1.00 HKD = 0.128266 USD):
1. Randy Lew (Canada) PokerStars Team Online $3,772,000 2. Jimmy Pan (Macau) $2,367,000 3. Jeff Rossiter (Australia) $1,306,000 4. Fabian Spielmann (Germany) PokerStars Qualifier $1,019,000 5. Zuo Wang (China) $809,000 6. Kai Yat Fam (Singapore) $653,000 7. Daniel Nordstrom (Sweden) $498,000 8. Tan Tai Zheng (Singapore) $373,000 9. David Steicke (Hong Kong) $263,300"
Nice to see Nanonoko can adapt his game! The only time I've seen him play live, on pokerstar's big game, he wasn't lucky at all but kept his cool and kept playing his game.
I think he probably is one of the best players out there.

The man is a beast. I've had the pleasure of playing against him on the Stars $3/6 tables and he definitely lives up to his reputation as a card shark. Glad to see he is taking it to the live games as well!

Big ups 2 nanonoko . . . the most impressive aspect of this win was that he entered the final table as the shortest stack and used that grinding genius he displays in ring games to come out on top. I'm sure this will solidify his status as one of the premiere players worldwide, instead of a strict online cash game juggernaut.
