Well, I thought it would be very good to start disscusion about curency and unstability of Euro at this moment. I have around 1100 euros on my PokerStars account at this moment and its all in Euro curency. In last month Euro went down from 1,41 to 1,33 and I really dont know should I buy Dollars as it seems to be more trustfull curency at this moment. Trouble is that Euro is already very low and its possible that will get stronger as it is on one of lowest points in history. However, because of crisis in Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain it is possible (unlikely but still possible) that Euro will be facing with total crash!
What do you think regarding this matter? What is your prefered curency on Poker Stars? Do you think that Euro will recover or die?

I have my own money in €,and the money of the stake I play in USD. If you are afraid to lose value of your money because none of your currencies is supported by stars,I'd use canadian dollars. It seems like a reliable currency and it's pretty close to USD value,so your CAD bankroll is close to what your USD bankroll would be. GBP (British pounds) cant be wrong either.
Or,other solution, keep the majorty of your roll on moneybookers where you use your home currency, and just deposit/reload your account when needed.

The whole money system is a bit shaky at the moment. If you want a half way stable currency, go for the Norwegian Crown, or either the Aussie or Canadian dollar. But the Euro is quite low to these at the moment.
But if the Euro really crashes, they will feel the pain too.

Hi guys!
I have my bank on Pokerstars Almost 50-50. I'm pulling out of $ $ or € € depending on how I do better with one or the other currency and that relative prices have.
If we knew that the euro will recover or not, we would become gold with trading

You will need to figure this out by yourself according to the currency use you make having in mind of course the conversion fees. MB charges 1.99% and Neteller 2.5% so a frequent currency change is like working for them. Better have an account with USD and one with Euro.
Good thread. I think both currency's will die, question is, wich one goes first. At the moment im inclined to say ; euro. The dollar will survive longer because of the crooks over at the "federal" reserve easily print extra money , wich will cause devaluation of the dollar, but causes it to survive longer. Dividing it on both currency's sounds like a safe plan.
If you have a large sum of money on a bank or something, get it off and buy gold. Yes gold prices are sky high, but they will continue to rise until long after the coming social economic collapse.
Eventually , there will be one world currency, the conspiracy loony's where right.
It's an interesting matter and if I knew which currency is going to raise or go down I would probably be rich right now. Completely unpredictable and if you hear that somebody tells you that he knows, he is lying
