The addition of video's to Bankroll Mob would make the site much better!! Not that the site is not good already, but you can't have a world renowned top notch poker based website without videos! The addition would allow an opportunity for members to post their own poker adventures as well all other cool poker related media. If you are thinking that videos will kill the forums they probably wouldn’t since members who use the forums will continue to do so given you cannot have a conversation with a video. The addition should also boost the number of members, which I am sure of! Thank you for taking the time to consider this proposal. -Stupidrunk

I'm all for it as well, but videos demand a lot of bandwidth and Servers (space). Let's see what comes up, but nice suggestion.
Super simple to implement, just host videos on youtube.
I'm currently working on implementing just this feature for my own site. There's a lot of ways to implement a system like this, just depends on what platform this site is hosted on.
Hmmm, I wonder what kind of system this site is hosted on anyways. Wonder if it's a custom CMS, or some other instalation. Maybe Tony will pop in and educate us
I think that the problem with a lot of poker affiliate sites is, they are missing the true social networking aspect. Sure they throw up a forum, but there's a lot of other avenues you can pursue to add that little "extra".

BRM members can already post video if you host via youtube. Simply upload to youtube and embed link. There are even special threads for posting youtube vids. Whereas pictures are stored on brm servers vids are stored on youtube so no problem. Only complication is how to embed and youtube not allowing embedding on certain vids. But I dont really see why brm should change to host videos or see the problem with not having as many vids online if they are all available on youtube anyhow.

That's a really good idea stupidrunk, especially if the videos were user submitted. I guess bandwidth could easily be an issue. It would be pretty fun to do, who knows maybe there could even be a contest.

Lol no, not a spy, just a poker lover like the rest of ya I wouldn't consider myself to be in direct competition with BRM, as my site doesn't focus on casinos, nor free bankrolls like BRM does. I'm just here to shoot the s**t about poker

Hi all!!
I like the idea. Videos are a good way to learn a bit more (or a lot). More interesting, in my opinion, if the videos are OUR videos. I have a couple that i can post, if i´m not the only one who do it.

I like the idea, but it needs a lot of thinking through.
Wo'll make the video's? Allow noobs video's? Perhaps we could start off with just a forum section or blog section.
You can post youtube video's and such. And work on through that if it is popular, the administrator can actually think of implimenting a wole page for that.

I think this is a great idea. The addition of videos would be nice because it is easier to watch and understand things than it is to read about. I think the Admin people will agree to this and i look forward to the addition.
