Would you have played this differently  0
This is the final table of a PLHE tourney I was in two minds about calling villains river bet as I wasn't really getting the correct odd but figured that if I did hit the straight I would get his entire stack and be in with a chance of coming first. I have no stats on the villain as I don't use the HUD for tourneys.

I certainly didn't expect him to call my pre-flop with 2 4, post flop I put him on 45s, 56s or most likely Ax

I never min raise, so to start my bet would be min of 3x, depending, sometimes in position with not so great hands I only want the blinds, and will bet 4 or 5, I would then re-raise the flop to represent the A, as, in this hand they way its played, I would have gave up on the turn.
So, yep I would have played differently.

yeah, I would have played as Bigfoot wrote, but If for some reason I would have seen the river card, I would have called just as you did.

This is pot limit, the most I could have bet pre-flop would have been 6000, I bet 4800 expecting to win the blinds without it costing me too much if he came back with a pot re-raise.

Kinda phetatic play there from the SB.
He's a real gambler 20bb's calling 24o.

I would prolly take this line: 3bet him after the flop as he lead out. His leading out shows weakness in my eyes most of the time.
He normally should fold to a 3bet. Then you can fold the turn easely if he'd donk out again. Most of the time he'll check to you unless theres a dangerous card. Meaning you'll more often pick the pot at the flop or you see cheaper to the river. (As you took the line of calling 2ce)

If i'd call the flop, I would definatly fold to the turnbet there, you are putting way to much of your stack in there.

At least my point of view on a tournaments play
