poker school is easy to pass the quiz and why play play chips went its only $10 min deposit on pokerstars Question

If thats what you like tho good luck to you

------------
I agree i prefer to play 1 freeroll then end with a Dollar prize instead of a ticket to round 2. It always happens to me sit in a freeroll for ages then get my ticket then when round 2 starts im unable to play because im at work it sucks lol

Thanks for the post! i really dont mind depositing but thats not really the point of what im trying to accomplish. pokerstars is great for alot of things but rewarding freerolls isnt it. thanks to some advice above by jibberish ive found a nice place to hammer away at games with no risk and unlimited reward.

------------
just finished a epic session of about 16 hours.
I really feel like i murdered the plo 5$ speed games on hero. plo seems to be most natural to me. allowing me to play a wide selection for as little or much as i like. simply choosing to check on the flop can allow for a relatively inexpensive calldown on the river. This keep the opponents honest and maintains a semblance of weaker play then it really is. This is also ideal considering how many of the same players i see in said games.

I have decided to grind the games for a few days and c what kind of roll i can get.

The bad play that triggered the end...

sitting in second in chips with four remaining. im in small blind and floppynuts moves utg+1 for for 100k. the last hands obviously have been push poker with blinds at 15k/30k with a large ante. I have 66 and decide to reraise for my stack to isolate and hope for a coin flop or... low low pp. this is my fundamental error in logic. i know this. i see this happening... i click the button. 99 and a nine on the flop. my hand slapped for my play im left with about the same stack as floppy now. next hand i pick up KQ and utg pushes. i snap call and face q3. i hold. now this is another part i regret. i get KQ again next hand and push. da chinesedutchguy calls and wins the hand. who cares what he has... i dont. i want to remember how silly it was to push there.... well heres the breakdown. Im happy with the game for sure i just want to improve.

just wrapped up my final tourney of the day. At the start of the day i monied in my first 3 24 player sng's. As stated above i then parlayed that and had great luck. I really enjoy playing at hero poker and i find the environment akin to early days stars. Most people are trying really hard to play their best and stakes will always dictate certain things its nice to have a poker related convo at the table.

someone mentioned my stats were off the hook on sharkscope. lol, i had forgotten about that site and couldnt find merge network on opr.

have to apologize on being lazy about details. my focus has really been on poker but i promised myself at the beginning i would write up something each day.

goodnight and may all your cards hold and ur draws hit.

been a tough day so far. bubbled in the 3.30$ 2-7 triple draw to an idiot who thought raising and drawing 3 was a good idea. Smile reminds me of a funny deuce seven joke i heard. There once was a guy who called and drew 1. . .

i played this game to blow off some steam and once again finished below my avg chip position. i need to get better at aggresive play.
currently in the $99 dollar mtt and been running well.

ugh... 60k in chips and i for some stupid reason am playing for the win with 16 left and im in 4th in chips and 9 get $11. im on button and have AQ. i bet 3x into the BB who pushes and i decide to hero. he shows QJ and hits a turn jack. The damage done i end up gambling a few orbits later on jj and lose. in 11th.

so anyways im really thinking many people can benefit from hero poker if they are so inclined. the website is pretty neat and the ceo is the former asian manager of stars. Since this is a roll management site im going to keep an updated list of my ongoings and who knows. maybe a few of us freerollers can make some coin?

so here is the very first day of activity on Hero Poker!

Well, what a day. What started as a very promising day has ended with me down. With a roll of 145$ I decided to play all deepstack nl games under 4$ and a few sng's. Early in the day i took down a 27 player sng for 10$ to boost me up. I then ran super deep in the $99 mtt and with 4th place chips with 15 remaining played myself out of the money. Stupid. Sitting out would have got me that $11.

Next i had enrolled in the dollar dazzler rebuy and with just one addon was again in second spot in chips with 40 remaining and top 24 paying and i found myself out of the match quickly.

I did money in the "fast fifty" .50cent game. I got final table and was 5 handed and looking to make some real roi when i was 3 carded and then out a hand later with 88.

What bugs me most about the days events was in particular i maintained a really strong table image throughout my play and was still called and sometimes even raised by far inferior hands. Now i know i have to bluff sometimes they think but in one hand i had JJ and min bet +1 utg. was top pair on flop and bet 1/2 pot. the guy moves allin and i flat him and he has 88 and i win. the very next hand im utg and get AA. i min again. the chip leader at the table goes allin. i would have folded anything but AA to him and was half expecting to see AA on him. KJ. the guy pushed me allin with KJ and hits a set on flop. Now im well aware that its that play that has given me my money online but we all know how draining it is when it happens.

My last game of the day i knew i wasnt feeling it when i min bet jj utg again in a different game and was pushed allin by someone. i called and he had jj. we were ten outta the money and we both had chips enough to make it but he flops three to a flush and turns me out.

cest le vie and tomorrow is another day.

gl and gnight

Whoa the roller coaster ride isnt over yet. Played horribly today. If i have any rules i broke em all. I started strong and was set for a easy final table in my first deepstacks game when with first overall in chips i lost two hands where i was over 70% and then was double perfected out the door.

I went on tilt hard. i did it all. games i shouldnt. hands i wouldnt. i just couldnt be helped. i was sick and bleeding bad. To make matters worse i started going up in levels. Tired of getting bad beats why not try and find better players was my reasoning. first hand i play in a 5$ game is 44. im utg and i min raise just to give some room and i get min raised back and 4 people come along. Flop is 428. I check and the bettor raises for pot. all the others fold and i wait 3 secs before diving. he calls with QQ. turn is a Q.

Im super tilted now. Worse i am convinced i can win it all back. Nothing like chasing money. I enter a boatload of games and cap them all off with the piece de resistance. I enter a $22 dollar 10 player sng. Its amazing how clear ones vision becomes once you pass the point of no return. Instantly i regretted it and knew i would play scared and likely myself out of the game.

Forgetting about the other games save a quick glance before acting i keep my focus on the big game and wait. I pick up QQ. Awesome. maybe everyone will go allin and ill hold? I triple bet the bb and wait. i get reraised by a guy allin. I click and pray. AQ yeha i got him. A on the flop and im gonzo.... I was so dejected i logged off and went for a hot tub. forget the other games. poker wasnt what i was worried about. I did feel a bit better though oddly. Maybe it was how silly i was and now i got what i deserved. Back to the drawing board i thought as i sipped my beer in the warm bubbles with the cold air blowing. Ill go back and finish respectively if i can i thought. I log in and am still in the majority of the games. I go about my games no longer worried about much and just trying to regain confidence. Things start improving and i finish in the money in one and take a commanding lead in a 10 player sng for 2$. the 2$ sng seemed to be taking forever i remember and the hands were unusually good. My lead evaporated and one away from the money we seemed pretty close. I swore i would play the game with no monkey business and wouldnt resort to hoping. I waited for hands and made non confrontational steals when i could. After some doing i finally won the game and was startled to see "$100" prize screen. I was like wait... no way... omg. i am a donkey but boy am i lucky.

I learned so many lessons losing that game. If i didnt lose it, in a odd way i dont think i could have won it. I know had i known during that crazy 4 way battle i woulda felt overwhelmed by talent and tossed any two above ten in.

So here it is. i promise never to do anything like that ever again.

Well i had to amend my statements. Ive been on a real heater of late and since christmas day have enjoyed tremendous success. realigning my centre after the tumultuous day i had a few days earlier and re calibrating my goals i started the day with a few cashes in the 1-2$ range 6 max sng's. Then i met him. A truly repulsive player who is calling everyone names and belittling them. When he won he called them donkeys and fish. When he lost he would list their stats and continue from there.

Mark Twain "Never argue with a fool; onlookers may not be able to tell the difference."

Of note, this is an 27 player $2.20 sng. I have around 6k in chips and comfortable around the 21 player mark. I pick up QQ. The smart mouth is verbally abusing someone at the time i 4xbb bet in early position. He dives. I have him covered and positive if i call im playing three card poker against him. I call. He has AQ. Yup he has 3 aces he can hit and save a generous flop not much else. Flop comes AAQ. He begins ranting and raving about his play. How we are all donks and should just quit now. Quickly at heropoker and likely across merge there are emotes. Gay little happy winky faces and such. I drop an "eye roll" as if to say "cmon, u were fortunate so easy now killer" He lets out something he had to have readily available. My SNG stats. Now i dont much about them but i do check them occasionally and to my knowledge i was in the black in sng roi. He ranted and ranted for hands about how i was making the table with my poor play. I had to look for myself. Sure enough i was at -6 roi. gadzooks ive been playing horribly in these games i thought and secretly wondered about playing 6 handed games and the affect even winning had on my sng roi. Needless to say he hit a sore spot.

I continued on and he kept at me. Like most times i notice an a*****e, this one kept enjoying great success and was way out in front of me and everyone. He must be good and just playing like a monkey. We make final table and im sitting across the table from him and stewing. He doesnt stop. Telling everyone on the table how horrible i am although suited to be with all the other "losers" on the table. I pick up AK and he's in the BB. I flat and know he will raise me even a little just to mess with my "nit" stack that cant take chances. his words. Everyone in between him and I flat. he raises and i dive. everyone folds and he snap calls with AQ. i hold. Now he is flaming about how bad a flat was there and how i should do this and that not knowing im looking to felt him bad. He is tilted. He moves allin twice in a row and shows both bluffs. I pick up 67 clubs and because we all are worried about hiim diving again noone but me calls. He's like a wounded birdy now. barely enough chips to survive a few orbits i called that 67 looking to turf him with a bad beat. he shoves. I snap. he turns AK over to my 67 and i felt him. He cant be helped. he is furious and out. Everyone laughs and good times are had by all. Except the a*****e who just bubbled in 8th.

Curious i then decide ive time enough now to check his stats. I never waste searches on others ever. i am that vain. its not like i play high stakes so really im thinking most opponents are in the red in general due to stakes. This guy. This guy that talked so much crap was +2% roi and with 67 games was up 11$. I had more profit then him in sng's alone and he had to see that too but he still said those things. I got even madder about it all. I played the hell outta that sng and took first. check my stats now i thought to myself and then went on a tear and a half. I managed to ship the 750$ guaranteed with 358 players. I then ran first most of the &2750 dazzler only to pop in 6th then i flirted with high stakes by entering a rebuy where top 10 got 11$ tickets and top 2 109$ i finished 3rd when i was in first all game there too. Save some crazies that overtook me for short times before going out.

I was really burned out last night though and with 1st in chips with 60 or so left in the $2750 dazzler i managed to go out in three hands. I had best hand first two times but i shuld have sat on my 500k in chips and not gambled with the peasants kinda thing. I firmly believe a sheriff can only live so long as it only takes one stray bullet to end it all. So i should have folded my hands where i wasnt sure. Table movement messes me up more then i care to think. I feel i spend all the time developing a good image only to get moved. handed KK and then have all four aces call my allin and someone hits something. trypically the A-2 A-3 wins where the AK never had a chance once those low cards come.

Well thats a bit of my thoughts and theories on my current run. I am in the process of having my hand history emailed to me if possible and ill support them somewhere online and provide links.

------------
boy o boy. So i was thinking since im on such a tear maybe i should jump up the 33$ level and play a deep stacks with my winning voucher from the freeroll i won. 67 players and first gets 800 before late reg is finished so im liking my chances. I make a long distance phone call to a friend who is a zen master sng killer. He also clocks mtt's but purely for fun and ego. So im talking with him and asking about the issues with moving up. He says that im likely to still be one of the better players from his ecperience with my play and his thoughts on that level.

Buddy there are tighter players in micro then anyother level he says. Micro players run the whole gamut, some for fun. Some for pure competitive thrill and some are just donkeys but the competitive types are mostly in the micro stakes because they cant afford the swings so every play is important to some.

So what the f**k i think. I am sure most are just casual players simply looking for a thrill.

It starts off horrendously, im placed at a table with one other guy. like wtf im thinking. I dont need this start. I got 5k in chips and im in a HU match with someone who has the bloody sunday guaranteed ribbon meaning he won the $109 dollar sunday mtt. anyways i used my time wisely and made him wait each hand until the timer came up before acting. This worked out becuase withing 5 hands i was changed tables to one with 4. within two hands the table was full. I get JJ on the BB and its folded down to SB who makes a standard raise and i repop to 530. he folds. So its gonna be like that im thinking. nothing easy and alot of bluffing.

Then i pick up AJ on sb. it gets folded around until button. the same a*****e who bet 240 but wouldnt call 530 kinda jerk. he bets 240 I flat and know im ahead i dont care about stakes. im following my gut. Flops is J low low. i check. he waits and bets 730. I wait and then repop to 1500. He hollywoods and just when im sure hes folding he dives. I instantly call him before i rethink it thru and sure as f**k he has KQ. The river brings the K. The only consolation is that i have 600 chips more then him so im still in the game. next hand i pick up AK on the button. this crack head shoves with 109. i instantly call and sure enough he flops top two.

I sound upset and id be lying if i said i wasnt a bit perturbed with lucks fickle choice of timing BUT im going to use this to my advantage. I am satisfied with my read and my actions.

This does bring me to a small observation and subsequent strategy. Alot of people seem to like floating a bet only to try and take it off the aggressor on the flop. For example if i raise with AK early i have found more often then not a player will flat call me. Sometimes ive notived larger stacks simply repoping with the og raiser folding. All of this is beautiful. One move ive used with great success is letting that greedy a*****e float my bet and then when he repops my flop bet or acts first and bets more then 2/3s pot i simply cringe and go allin. I am so sure of this move ive pulled it off with 45 twice. I dont recommend showing the others because it really shows a more advanced range of play. Even if the player has overbet the pot and is committed to an allin call they still fold.

I recall a old friend telling me ages ago utg was the new button. i think he was correct then but now i feel most advanced players just take advantage of scared players like the way i outlined above.

Well theres my general musings on poker theory. also it pays to trust your fellow man. trust me Smile

heh get it ? huh huh?

very quickly i just wanted to post a nice SS. Also id like to add i just went out in 22nd in the $300 dazzler with 2nd in chips at 93k to first in chips 113k. flopped two pair after floating his min. i could have gave him AK easily and he sure played it like he had it. i flatted him preflop and he cbet flop and i min and he dove. now obviously he has it but this is my main problem. i do trust people but i also know how strong a shove looks in that position and up till then i had needled him for about 30k and could have been simply done with playing.

oh, forgot to add. he had k9. i called and was subsequently out in 22nd i think. totally wasnt even aware how close to money. Greed blinded me when i saw him allin and me with two pair. greed killed me but i knew the cost and made the choice and have no issues with it.

------------
Arggg a pirates life for me. lol

so i just got felted in the $2750 dazzler ive been itching to ship. Was in 8th with 90 left and im on SB. just get table moved... (omfg i hate it so much ffs) and am stuck next to someone with a heart for an avatar with 350k in chips. Wanna talk consipracy's? how about putting top 5 in chips on one table when there are ten tables but i digress. So i pick up AJ and its folded to me and have i mentioned im SB. ive got 300k in chips and i know the player next to me is trouble for my game. without going to deep into how i thought playing i should play the hand i settle on "im ahead. im shoving." writing that now i know i was at fault. i know i have played enough freerolls to know a gambler only needs a real reason to fold. I dive and she calls instantly. A10. river ten and im blowing bubbles for the second time in as many dazzlers and likely more if i look into it.

I came here to flame and let it out on paper but even writing it i know i should have made my normal bet. cbet flop and go from there. Maybe the villain would have repopped my min bet. maybe if i did standard play they would have folded on flop.

Either way i feel better thinking it out. Man i dont give a damn about the money but being in the top ten in chips and overplaying my hands needs to stop. I know my playing style is conducive to wide swings in chips but if i can learn to minimize loses even more then it can only help.

Ty for dropping a line. Your post is a little vague but im assuming you mean the picture? I just thought it was hilarious to bust AA and KK in one hand.

man i hope this post gives me a welcome third page. posting that tourny history is taking too much space.

Well here i go. I am registered for the mighty 100 tickets to the 109$ sunday guaranteed 100k vip reward game. I have to amass 100 vip points to qualify and i suppose i did because in 20 or so mins i will be playing in a super deepstacks 20k game with only 1300 registrants meaning one of every 13 registrants will recieve a ticket and that has to be pretty decent comparably to other sites.

People been dropping in all day though so im thinking of putting a F-off sign up or do not disturb lol.

hosting a par-tay later as well so i hope this isnt a long game. Typically these types of thigns drop entrants quickly and ill likely be folding down anything not made in early position.

ne ways ill post my result later.

thx man.its actually a 3k starting stack. my mistake.

just took down my first hand. QQ utg min raise. button shoves. i think im fooked but likely am in lead facing ak or some hand similar. I call and face 99. flop comes 768......

blank blank.... Smile

the sweats nearly kill me.

------------
Made it thru the first hour sitting pretty. Just after picked up A10 on button and raised it 3x bb. received two calls one of which was by a player playing everyhand.

flop comes 10 9 7. I bet pot and the looser of the two floats me. turn is a Q. i bet pot again feeling if they missed their Q im good. Flat call. river K. both check. shows K. very next hand im sitting with 3k and open shove with KK after 2 callers acted before me. One caller. Shows 99 and door cards a 9.

Lessons learned? shove when you hit top pair. unless they are trapping you which really messes with your head making you think you shouldnt over bet the pot. Alternatively shoving with top pair isnt any good either at times... Smile

Really i felt i was playing above my range and as soon as doubt lurks in yer dead so i need to find that comfort zone in the future if i expect success in that game.

still for free and i made a new friend who gave me some awsome advice about my game.

Micro, nothing wrong with playing in the "Play Money" games. Your right! It's great practice and although I play SnG's for the most part I enjoy playing in the "Play Money" games also. It's better to do this for practice then using your BR/$$ to improve your game. Good Luck to All!

Poker can be alot of fun when the stakes dont matter. Heck when i play play money and lose with AA i just smile!

The game can deteriorate if you are vigilant in your goals. Meaning its easy to just give up and think its a freeroll ill just chance it. This is where the beauty of practice in play money is so vital. If you can maintain your game when it doesnt matter then imagine how much that helps if you can bring that mindset with you to the real money.

Recently i had become infatuated with rebuys. The game itself is still poker but the time until rebuys are over can utterly ruin any faith you have in any cards holding. Sure you may get lucky and pop off two monsters with j9 os utg but the people that say thats a losing play are correct. Anyways i only mention this to say during the last few days i had become prone to "flip" syndrome. If i had anything near a coin flip id take it. Its amazing how we all expect our AK to win but we also all expect our qq to hold against that same AK. This doesnt even bring into play all those A2's that outflop kk all the way to 22. Well anyways i was bleeding and i could sense i was trying to force my game and the simple matter is poker is hard work. You cant just always dive with AJ or AK. playing QQ's like they cant lose is a losing strategy. The worst part was money wasnt an issue so i could keep flipping if i wanted to. Then i woke up and didnt want to play poker again. Which happens. This may not make much sense if anyone reads this but to me its some what of a premonition.

Everyone needs to find and use a system that works for them. To me i like to play alot of small pot poker while the blinds are still small. Back when i used to play i was notorious for amassing a huge lead only to be out before money or even final table sometimes. It still happens and daily i go out of a tourny or two on the bubble with final table chips. Id like to think its less frequent now but something i need to work on. I already know whats the cause though. The inner gambler. I love flips and its dangerous habit to have. So now when i play mtt's i never chase a flush if the pot odds, NOT IMPLIED! implied kills me. dont dictate it. I also shut my range down hugely.

Anyways after a terrible couple days i have righted the good ship micro with some cashes and a tourny win today. My sng game was so attrocious it took me all i could to bring it back above water.

if this post doesnt make much sense i apologize. its a bit late and ive been ill so ive taken soem NYQUL!!!!!!!!!!! og is better then cherry.

poker school is easy to pass the quiz and why play play chips went its only $10 min deposit on pokerstars Question

If thats what you like tho good luck to you

I agree i prefer to play 1 freeroll then end with a Dollar prize instead of a ticket to round 2. It always happens to me sit in a freeroll for ages then get my ticket then when round 2 starts im unable to play because im at work it sucks lol

You can unregister and save the tickets for another time, maybe when you are on holiday and can play them, I once had 5 tickets that I couldn't use until I had a holiday and I used them then Smile Big Smile

Well yesterday was a bit of a rollercoaster. I finished down but had some rl issues i had to deal with and lost a few buyin's sitting out. I was sitting in first in a 45 player sng for $5.50 when i couldnt continue and made it back to late.

I had some real poor late stage performances in more then 1 mtt as well. noticeably both the newly boosted $1000 guaranteed for $3.30 and the Dollar Frenzy Rebuy $3000 guaranteed. Both games enjoyed a 250$ boost to the guarantee yesterday. I finished in the money in the frenzy and had just finished off a couple hours of tight play when i picked up AQ in the BB and button bet 3xbb. I reupped and he popped it again. Beware, AQ is always behind here. I had just seen the guy show KK less then 10 mins before and i really dont know what i was thinking but i shoved and he called with QQ. this is not a cooler. given the information i had i should have folded after he reraised me.
The whole point of having chips it to find out where you stand and i was behind and made a donkey bet.

That aside in the $1000 deepstacks game i played well again for the first couple hours and about the same time i cashed in the frenzy i went out in the guaranteed. I know i lost a monster pot with JJ allin and the moron bb called with 109. ended with a river ten to give him quad tens. I know this is a typical situation for most tight players. i guess i overplayed the hand if i want to be honest but really my stack was large enough where a 10 high call is simply game ending if you dont win. My girlfriend watched me play for a bit and at one point exclaimed during a bad beat i just recieved. Wow that guy sure is lucky he hit the last card. up till then he would be better off folding. i lol'd and gave her a kiss on the forehead. She would make a better player then most in those stakes.

Its a tough spot the low limits. i dont really mind the beat because they are +ev plays longterm and also because the play is looser i do benefit from it faster.

------------
So ill try something new and blog about a game im in. Right now im sitting in a couple games. ive upped the buy-in to $3.30 for a 5K gtd tourny. it's a rebuy event but im looking to tighten up my rebuy allotments. Which is kind of why i decided to make this blog. im also in the 1$ frenzy 3k gtd rebuy.

I am going to try and keep a relatively up to date account of the 1$ game. ive been playing it really tight and havent indulged in any of my usual antics so far. heck as i write this i just folded KQ utg +3. Which in early stage rebuy or this game anyways is uber tight. for me anyways... the reason im playing tight and documenting each critical hand is to be able to look back after and asses my play and find spots i could have done things differently.

so here goes. im sitting with 11285 42 mins till addon and blinds are a hefty 200/400 already.

------------
utg +3 i open with a min bet of 2400 with a dazzling A4 diamonds. blinds are mine. 10k plus change.

ive folded down a few orbits and thought a peek would be,,,, oh just picked up 1010 in bb and before i could act i faced an allin, i took that down and next hand had 44 and 14k. blinds being 500/1000 it got to me with 3 callers to a 2k raise utg. i flat. flop comes 233. two spades. i lead out for 4k and two callers. turn 3. i dive. and they both call. q8 spades and yikes... 1010. river 4. the 1010 had less chips then me by quite a bit but the other guy with spades had me covered and im sitting with 34k.

------------
A8 on small blind. button with no action moves allin for 8k. i call and face A6. i really thought id see Q high and face two live but a 8 came and i am sitting with 46k. more importantly 12 mins till the end of rebuy and the 30k addon for 1$. at this point ill be locked down and in fold down mode. The low stacks are antsy and will start shoving with any two to chip up to 6k before addon if below. typically one could take advantage but my A8 will do.

------------
another hero call with A5 on bb to a button shove. this time the villain has 10 2 and hits a deuce on the river. hero is wounded. 37k t - 3 mins to break.

------------
last hand before the break. oh im a bit vengeful i think. last hand andi pick QJ. the villain who stuck me with a 10 flat calls in early position. i call behind with thoughts of a nut flop. sb bb call and check. flop comes kq 8. i act last and make a standard raise of 2x bb. blinds fold and after some time the villain flats. A turn. he dives for 20k. wincing i let it go. knowing my luck the dumb s**t slow played AA.

adding on im sitting with 65k. game on!

------------
we got a live one. the villain who already was villanous enough has once again struck. rather tight player with a large stack. around 60k opens utg for 3xbb. the villain on the button with me on bb reraises. i fold with junk and the og raiser dives. insta call by the villain. utg has a strong kk. villain stands firm with Q10. river str8. villain is sitting with 100k+.

q9 diamonds in small blind. min raise flop comes 678. i bet pot and take it down.
66 in mid position. min raise. bb was allin. holding 95. 9 on flop. sitting with 77k. blinds are 2k/4k.

------------
99 bb. utg opens. i check. no one else. flop comes 233. i check. he mins i call. turn 8. i check he bets 12k i dive. he folds. i show.

100k.

------------
77. villains flats i min raise to ten k. bb shoves. villain flats. i dive. villain calls with 109. i hold until river gives him 4 card flush.

AQ next hand with 20k. gets to me with no action. i dive. two callers. 1010 and AQ. A on turn and im sitting with 30k.

the villain got me pretty good. not gonna lie. whoooosa.

------------
1010 sb. button shoves Again.... i call k on flop. glorious o glorious ten on turn. was at 50k but never posted this like i thought. blinds got me at 34k now. button shoves Again with... not sure but i called with A9.. i really hope i win this one.

------------
sweet hey zeus. he had KJ and i flopped top two and held. 95k!!!!

------------
id just like to say its been the same guy each time that shoves on button. the villain who caused me such strife was also moved unfortunately.

i cant stress how lucrative calling Ace high has been in these low games to late position shoves. rating the player first of course.

------------
ok. blinds are 5/10k and im sitting with 90k. my next hand needs to be a good one.

------------
scratch that.stole bb while in sb with 52. gotta make thigns happen somehow.

------------
they moved the villain back. a real idiot his first hand he doubles up a ss with q high....

------------
kq in bb.... been my best hand in a while. new guy in mid spot bets 51k, im sitting with 77k. 12k in bbs i let it go... i dunno. im thinking he doesnt want a call but i dropped it.

------------
h4h right now. in 78th and top 81 pay. im still looking for a spot to grab some chips.

------------
found my spot. sitting 1 before button i see my chance. bb has 40k and button has 40k. sb is my only danger to risk my game. h4h i know the other two wont call unless they pick up aakk or qq. i shove and take it.

------------
99. on the bubble i shove and came here to write about it. aw. poo. ran into AA. good news is somehow i managed to slip into the money.

well there it is folks.

aw sorry to leave you hanging. dont worry its well worth the wait.
(DISCLAIMER- bad beat rant and how)

Alright im not gonna lie. my brm went out the window about 4 days ago. Sitting in 4th in chips in a 12.5k guaranteed and just shy of the money im dealt QQ. the bag of s**t next to me in BB is in 2nd.

Ive shown no less then AJ and for the record never open with trash like A5 or KJ or other garbage hands. i fold jj or worse to game risking stacks unless i am sure they are a poor player. AK is no good to me if i have to call and hope.

Anyways i guess im still a bit jaded but i pick up QQ and bet pot. the moron repops me but still we have stacks and im thinking its a cold deck but what can i do. i shove. This glue bag calls with Q10. I dont know what the hell hes thinking but sure enough he rivers a str8. im in a few other games at the time and decide to batton down and finish the session. i then go out with AA to another glue bag who dives on my standard pre flop raise with QJ. Where these jokers are learning to play is beyond me but they actually talk smack after too.

Which brings me to another point since im in full rant mode. Sore winners. Act like you fucking won a pot before in your life. Sure smacking down AA with AK is nice but when im still on the table and still ahead of you in chips how you can start talking s**t is also beyond me.

Regardless of my bad beats thats not important and it happens. what does matter is how tilted the whole s**t made me. I dont really care about the money other then to gauge my progress and as a result nearly played off my 700$ roll in 3 days. Absolutely horrid play that has no excuse. I know i was trying to beat the bad players at their own game but thats a lose lose. trust me. At one point i went in ahead 24 times in a rebuy and each time lost. Did i stop playing? no. why? because i turned into a donkey.

yesterday was likely my worst and it ended with me just sitting out and going for a walk. i was pretty pissed but i do know its only poker. So i had a hot tub. watched a movie with the lady and just kicked back.

I dont know what it was but my game was patient and concise today and i made it pretty deep in a few games.

I find playing the plo freerolls help my game immensely since you know your getting into a real grind and strong play will def be rewarded.

(im sorry for any outbursts anyone may have experienced while watching me.)

yeah im sorry to come off so strong above. i mainly just needed an outlet to vent even after everything plus it needed to be put to paper... err html. Its an important part of the process and i figured id just rant off and leave it there.

Id love to play a game. I just figured out how to add friends im not at a table with so if u want to drop ur username or just add mine "micromachina" id love to play a game sometime.

Sounds like you got it pretty set and i only suggest you add the daily freerolls to your schedule.

The appeal of playing for real money is always tantalizing but i recommend grinding the plo games until you have 20$ thats ten 1sts which is a minor task in itself but i promise you your game will be all the better for it.

The plo cash games are also fun but there are some real loosy goosy types in them which can wreak havoc on your roll.

As for how to start a blog? just list the games u play in. a short blurb about your day at the tables and maybe some long term goals.
