Unbelievable to me. After several month of suffering at Pokerstars I finally was able to reach the Top 75 out of 6.4k players in a Bounty GTD MTT. That is far away from getting rich, but I am feeling like a bad spell is broken through a miracle and the curse of unlucky LNP is gone as it was never there!
All these ugly beats in the past, that kept me in doubt and my head down, turned into winning percentages today! My pocket aces survived pocket kings, my suited Ax made the flush on the river and so on. At least I only lost one single showdown with my last hand, knowing I made nothing wrong! What a great day, feeling like this was my first christmas present

Yes, mostly I am a tp. Sometimes I watch the cash tables and hang on if I think there could be some share for me. But I don´t really feel comfortable with cashgames. I try to leave those tables as soon as I made some profit or when I realize I could get (b)eaten.
In fact it was a massive downswing for me at PS and I was close to quit it there. But today I am winning there again. Don´t know what it is, but it works

lucky. me in 1 year and 7-8 months on pokerstars, my best winning was 1st place , 4.40$, twice, but never more i have a curse , Russian curse always when i'm playing in a tournament, i lose against russian. over 60% when i was out from a tournament it was from a russian "devil" , and over 80% from those i lost against hands like , 7 3, 2 5, J 2, 7 2, 9 3 ... and me AA , KK , QQ , JJ , AK, it's a "curse" on me.

theres your problem right there your more concentrated at the table seeing your opponent is russian then simply keep playing your own game concentrated and win

Nice way to begin the year, with a new revelation from this excellent poker room. I hope your year can be full of results like this, which can exceed your expectations. But don’t forget everything can happen, and it can be any card the one that is going to appear next, so you can’t start playing sustained on what just happened this last game.

Very true. But should one rely on a possible trend? I mean, my downswing lasted really long and suddenly I am winning again, several times in a short period. That really keeps me thinking about to change the stakes I am playing.

Congratulations with winning the bounty tournament after a long period, just variance is high in tournaments, a lot of coinflip situations in the tournies nowadays.
