Just out of curiousity i search google for BRM freeroll passwords, theres lots of sites giving them away, this is why the amount of registered players has gone up lately.. sucks tbh, your freerolls arent worth joining anymore.

well not actually it doesnt suck that much as you think...in one way or another it just attracts more interest in bankrollmob- i believe that some of those dudes who are just gunning for passwords will eventually visit this site and get hooked up by the great offers here... and as far as the number of players go- yes the competition increases and that's not fun at all, but at least those dudes do not count on the leaderboards...

Hi guys!!
If that happens is all our fault. If we don´t give the pass to anyone (friends, another comunities, etc...) the freerolls will be played only for us not for people from another sites.

it's an old and unavoidable problem. if anyone wants they'll get the passwords anyway because of people running these sites. that's why tracked freerolls are best

Like Supernoob said, there is nothing you can do about this. Only one member of these other sites has to register here at BRM and then will give out the PW on their site. How would you like to avoid that ?

It's not good because 1000 players play for 25$ and that is only all inn and there is no play ,it9s better that we have 1 freeroll a day but for 150-200$ ,for 25$ anybody can play it's to small reward and too manny players

I can help but think it doesnt hurt for BRM to gain exposure and web hits along with possibly some more money from Competing poker rooms since more players=more money.
I recall they dont even get released until like 5 mins before the tournys at sta rs. So maybe there are way more mobbers then make posts. i played freerolls from here for ages before making one single post or a ndb. like i said i was a freeroll troll and only signed up likely for passwords.
Maybe add some click-thru-banners to increase the income and then ask sites to increase the allotment adding some coin from the coffers.

There shall always be password thieves in the poker community, but I think that pokersites must introduce low buyins to make them unattractable for password thieves.

If 1000 players sign up now for the freeroll and you find it hard to win something, imagine how many players will sign up with all those password sharing sites in mind, if the freeroll is 150-200$. Even harder. Cause dont you think that because the prize will go up at this height their play style will change.

Report them at their hosting company. You'll be surprised by how many hosts will take action against reported sites.

I really don't understand why people make such a big fuss over a freeroll. Why even bother playing them??? To me, there's zero appeal in playing 3 hours, in hopes of winning $.50 or $1. Much more productive things I can do with my time.

I no longer can play the Freerolls, but no big thing. I'm just surprised that I've been back here for a couple of weeks now and as I recall in the past, this used to be a every other day topic. Glad to see it's slowed down to some degree and that there are still people who watch out for this. Good Luck to All!
As you can see i m member here from september 2010 but i got active here like a month ago when i googled freeroll passwords. I forgot about this site and these freerolls reminded me about it so i went on to join this community.
I guess it can apply to similar examples and new players who never heard of BRM. That said i dont see it as a bad thing more like another way of promoting yourself. After all it s a freeroll so it s also good to have a lot of donks if you want to practice a bit with looooose action.

That is sad to know. But don’t say you will quit BRM freerolls just because of that. Instead, if anyone remembers of a way, we should try to advice BRM of how to stop this to continue happening. Maybe the agreement between BRM and poker rooms turns up the possibility to limit the registration in the site just like in other tourneys without password. I am thinking about the gender tourneys, for example. Just for being registered as a male, one can’t enter a tourney just for girls. If the site has info about the players who created account through BRM or that are BRM members, then perhaps they can create an “If” option (“If” like in computer software programing: If player A is BRM member Then he can join tourney, If not Then access denied) on BRM tourneys so that only we can enter them.

I know pokerstars does alot of private tournys that are tickets not passwords. perhaps it can be set up that we get ticket but who knows might be more complicated then it sounds

Its not only Poker Stars that doing that. All sites have tournaments with tickets. The thing is how hard is to set up a daily tournament like this especially when there are like 4-5 of them each day.
