What do you think is gonna happen to Full Tilt in 2012?  0
hey mobsters what are your thought on full tilt in 2012? are they gonna be back in business- if so what do you expect from them: great tourneys, awesome deposit, no deposit bonuses, big traffic- or just a vegetating poker room with lost fame and no one wanting to go back and experience the same old story...i really liked the software, the action, nice reward system on full tilt, they were offering innovations, and really looked like they were the only site that can be on par with stars...

Never really got into FullTilt very much, the software was okay and the gameplay was okay but the Mtts were not as good as pokerstars. Maybe because I never played on that site much anyway. But why would anyone go back after what happened. I figure they will re-open but will use a different name maybe Full Tilter LOL Who knows what will happen in 2012 only God knows. Big Smile

Good question. The company has been sold. So it may reopen this year, but i guess only outside of the US. If they go back online, a lot of players will cash out their bankrolls.

If the news are true they'll probably reopen. pay everyone in tournament tickets or so, trying to call players back without paying all out. they'll be a more responsible site but never as big as they once were for sure.

I made a small $40 deposit a couple of days before Full Tilt went down. I think I had around $30 left in my account. So, if they do come back I will see if they are going to honour my deposit. I figure $30 will be enough to give the "new Full Tilt" a trial run to determine if this is a site I like. It will be interesting to see if the site will be able to regain the popularity it once enjoyed.

I hope they will reopen soon, as everyone that had money in.
Now paying us back in tournament tickets isnt a good idea at all and wouldnt see it happen.
It would be better than nothing but i believe everyone would hate that.

i think they'll come back around march and if they process people's cashouts they'll have a good player base again. kinda similar situation as high pulse

I will watch it from the rail and maybe play there again, if the old tourneys and structures will return. Missing my razz tables Sad

I suppose they have to invent something new to get a good position at the market.

I hope they do come back and I believe Mober is on the right track. Since the site would be new more less, I believe honoring our BR with tickets is a positive step in the right direction. With new owners this would be a good way to show players from the past that they are back with good intentions.
I don't have a large BR, but like Pistol61 states, I would leave the it and attempt to regain confidence.
I also liked FT software, wide variety of games and my fav is SnG's, but they deserve the opportunity to prove themselves worthy. It's not like FT has ever had the chance to pay off their owed BR to the players. "Black Friday" happened and that's where it's been standing. Good Luck to All!

FT will never be the same...

i also would like to see them back and believe is would be fair considering how big it was before- about the players base- i really have a feeling that if the new owners gonna in some way prove that the site and deposits are safe- it has a solid chance to regain their player base and maybe even improve on it- after all they had great brand, and i do not think the name is gonna change- what i wait for is no deposit bonus- really think in some way this would be on offer, just because of the players who do not want to make any more deposits without checking first is it safe to swim there Big Smile

I hardly doubt that after all the money they have to pay up to the players that they will offer no deposit bonuses. Smile
The will need cash to stay in business and they will try to save as much as possible.
Their main concern will be to try and keep the existing customers first and then go after new ones.

Yeah, sure there will be a big amount of cash out. But i think they will still have some players since the lobby was really good (very customisable) and they had some good innovations (they have the brevet for Rush poker which had a lot of success !!).
I think we can still expect a 20K players traffic. Might take some time, but i believe in this !!

I'm sure that they will return in the 2nd half of the year, but be quite different. Being that FTP was bleeding money even before the theft, fraud, and seizures were factored in, changes are inevitable. I see rake being lowered, fewer freerolls with lower prizepools, fewer bonus' and probably other things behind the scenes.

well if they really want to get the players back a Big prize pool freeroll to start things off would be good .....namely a $200K freeroll where you need to qualify for it. That would make more players likely to return. That's just my take on things I have no idea even if they will be back. Worship

It will be a great Spring time for FT in 2012, the year of the renascence, you will see, everything is being taken care of so they can reactivate all the machine. The name can change, the visual aspect can change but the machine behind will be the same. All of us who play online know what to expect from there: lots of opportunities to cash in big. It will not take too long before we can see great names being supported by this new group. And then there will be us sitting at those new tables trying to get the best profit from our new BRM NDB!

I think they never come back. To much time has gone. Perhaps with a new name and the old software.
But with a new management and without the Pros like Ivey, Hansen & Co. this is not the same pokerroom. They had lost the last chance with a restart at the 1st of January.

Hi,I think that with time will less and less information about Full tilt go out and with time Fulltilt will be forgoten, some players who have big money on Full tilt account will sue them and spend years on court for their money and that will be all of Fulltilt Thumbs Up
