Kingoffools, I often get same problem with you ( I am sure many on line poker player get same ).

So, on line poker random system just like 'slot'. who sit at right table or have luck will win.
Like post above, J9 call 3x raise, 45 os. Did random system know they will call ?
I don't think so. The player KNOW or GUEST they sit at right chair and try their luck, fortunately they hit. Almost same with slot, isn't it ? But in on line poker still need skill.

its 100% set up no way do you randomly keep seeing hands such as 2 players in pot one has qq the other ace 9 flop comes 9qa continually seeing a pair on the flop this opens up hand ranges ive just played a hand b4 i have aq suit i hit aq on flop im put allin and low and behold he has jk to hit 10 on river its consistently happening action action action in every pot just ask yourself how can something random be consistent simple answer is it cant i have played 9 years or so online and ive seen some really bad set ups thats all it is a set up to gererate rake do you think a poker site cares about you NO just how much you spend its cheating river cards constantly at 5% come on its virtually impossible to keep seeing these hands randomly they ae taking us for fools telling us its random thats the worst of it i know its rigged yet i still play. no question or doubt the online game favours the poor player and the sites are talking rubbish when you ask about the rng and the miraculas cards it produces makes me angry to think that they think we are stupid

You're right, only losers believe in:

* Grammar
* Spelling

Yes, I live a 10 minutes from Crown Casino in Melbourne (Australia's biggest casino and home of the Aussie Millions series), although i rarely play live these days. I did however play pub poker for years before playing online and have played quite a few sessions at Crown as well.

I can absolutely guarantee that all the stuff the rigtards believe in happens in live poker as well. It really is as simple as that. I think a lot of people don't realise the implications of there only being 52 cards in a deck. A one-outter so to speak, really isn't rare as you may like to think.. Let's not even start on people hitting their decent draws..

no what my point is that online playing differs from actually having a chip stack in front of you.

with online theres no value, no physical...this is why you see these garbage calls...i dunno how many times playing live i have had a garbage hand on big blind with no raise...and hit.

but there is a little argument with the random online gens....i rarely see the calls or the hits live that you do online...and i play a hell of alot.

i live down the road from casino niagara...play in lots of tourneys and cash games, i do very well live.....then i go online play somewhat the same way, and don't do very well...so i can see both sides of the arguments...and they are both VERY valid

To some degree that is the case live as well - plastic chips have a lot less meaning than money. Casinos rely on this fact for a lot of the profit they generate.. The count on people not cashing out their chips regularly into hard currency.. Walking around with pockets full of black chips means a lot less than actually getting the notes into your wallet.

But yes, online the value is lessened more still. Not to mention the anonymity of online play allows for much looser calls and poor play - simply because you don't have to literally face anyone after a massive suck-out etc. So yes, you will see more bad beats etc online - simply due not only to the volume of hands you're playing, but also because you'll be facing more dodgy calls.

However, I've seen some ridiculous stuff live, in fact - the last time I played a live tournament with a decent buyin/prize-pool I had a terrible experience.. It was a rebuy game and this old guy (must have been at least 85) at my table took my stack 4 times within an hour. Each time we got our stacks in on the flop and each time he managed to hit a 1-2 outter on the turn or river.. After about my 4th or 5th rebuy I didn't buy back in. I literally had to leave the venue so I didn't lose my s**t and abuse an 85yr old man.

The actual situations may not occur as much live (less allins for starters), but when they do, the cards fall the same as they do online. You think any differently then you're kidding yourself.

hence the word "rebuy" this is a continuing argument...had you not been in a "rebuy" tourney i bet he wouldn't have played those cards...rebuy = no fear donkey

Yeah I know... Still though, that is why I don't mind rebuys, if people want to throw their chips in with crap cards and donate to me, works for me.. And if they get lucky, I'll just rebuy until they don't get lucky.. This old man just got lucky far too many times in a row.. I was seriously ready to start berating him, etc - I think another regular would have punched me if I did.. So I left the venue to calm down lol.

Are online sites rigged? I really don't think so, but I play on the ipoker network and have noticed "quirks" in races. I have about 100,000 logged hands on HM2 and have noticed that I win the majority of races where I'm 4:1 favorite or better (as expected). The quirks are races where it's between 50:50 and 3.5:1 favorite. In these situations, I win far less than statistically normal, currently around 35% of the time where I"m pretty sure I should be about 60%. Maybe it's variance, maybe it's just a downswing, but bottom line is I find the numbers off the ordinary.
