Can only try and imagine whom he is, I just watched a table that he was at and he left, the guy that entered the table started with the 10K and lost over 8 k on the first hand and then auto rebuy's to the $10K mark OMG its like chump change to these guys. lol $10K could buy me a lot of chocolates.

Yep there are 3 players who really play high stakes...isildur1 (victor blom), MrSweets28 (phil galfond), but who is 1Il|1Il|1il|....if i have to guess i thinnk its tom dwan....but i can be wrong

There is a post about it somewhere but I lost it and I think Tom Dwan was mentioned as this player but you never know until he owns up.

Nothing is sure really about om Dwan actually, many say he could be him but on other hand many pro US players moved to Canada after the black friday to play poker so you never know.
Also there was that Xwink/Xblink guy that is canadian...

This is an interesting question. I cast around to see what information was available, and right now my feeling is that this may be XBLINK. The guy is a PLO specialist like XBLINK, and able to zoom up in no time flat. I may have actually played against XBLINK a few years ago when I tried AP. One guy at the table (PLO25) was talking about how he had crashed his roll after running it up, and was trying again. When the name "XBLINK" hit the news a few months later, I was almost certain that it was the same name as the guy at that table that day.

Never have observed to verify, but I'm going to investigate it just to see if I can locate anything either through a friend search on PS for starters. Have you ever been able to chat at the same table this person was playing on? Maybe you should come right out and ask. The individual might surprise you by being nice about it, based on your approach of course. Good Luck to All!

sometimes you can chat, only if you have more as 3K in your account. But the most times they play on exclusive tables only. The only way to play on those tables is by invitation or you have to send an email to PS.

Wow! That's a little much. I can't find a thing related to this, but I couldn't perform a "Find Player" on PokerStars since I was unable to download the software. Do you know if PS is allowing U.S. players at this time? Just curious since "Black Friday" I haven't played on the site and I no longer have it downloaded. Good Luck to All!

i know a few months ago there were some US players but they could only play play money games so no real money games, but to tell you the truth i havent seen them for a while.

So from the old group of FT, there is now on PS galfond and ivey. And maybe Dwan. Anybody knows other players who used to play high stakes on FT but now are playing on PS?

damn you got me- i was on vacation in mexico- dropped in to a local internet shop to play some nosebleed poker, so the kids in the shop would have something to enjoy- don't ask what happened when i wanted to leave i think they call them tax-men in mexico... anyway it hurts to remember this

def not durrrr, some swede or scandi apparently. there are quite a few regs at stars semi nosebleeds now and the 50/100 plo games quite often end up with people 600-1000bb deep :/
i think they call them tax-men in mexico... anyway it hurts to remember this
