Stealing at the tables  0
I have a question. Is it possible to win a tournament without stealing? Is it possible to win a tourny by playing only the hands that you would consiter the winning hand. Ive tried to do it but my greedy instinct tells me to steal at every oppertunity weather it be 20 cents or $20.. Do you play only the wiining hands or are you a theiving sod like myself Smile

When I was new to the game I would pretty much push all in or fold. That worked sometimes but I had to be lucky.

I only play my good cards, its very rare that i steal blinds, if i do its cuz im lowstack and i know i have to. Im not the best player out there, but thats what working ok for me.
I think you have to find out what suit you best for your style of play. I try to remember what took me out the most times. And i always put my pot on the floor when i try and steal, so i try not to.

My tactic is to limp in as many pots early on in the tournament when the blinds are small, hope to hit the flops and build up my chips from there. When the blinds start to increase, I'll bully the shortstacks around with practically anything (when they are bb). Eventually they will get sick of it and hopefully call you when you actually have a good hand Tongue This seems to work well for me.

Also try not to get in to a fight with someone who has more / equal chips to you, as it might cripple you.

Maybe im overrating bluff or steal, but in MTTs its all about stealing, contibets and agressive play, lol you could ask your personal pokerclient to organize a tournament with a "all-in-button" only, then you could win a tourn without stealing Blink

when playing tourneys, i usually call pre-flop then its all-in or fold, i do this for the first rounds, this is to be able to have a larger stack so it will be easier to manage it.
