Is this really the world we live in now? I understand, due to the recent media reports, that people are starting to take a stand against bullying, but there has to be a line. That kid took another persons life, and society deems that to be a serious offense that gets jail time. By throwing this case out, it's sending the message that murder IS okay, if you are bullied. There are many avenues to take against a bully, and murder is definately not acceptable.
Don't get me wrong, I think bullying another person is a horrible, hateful act. People should definately not have to live in fear of another person, nor should they be made to deal with any sort of abuse, mental, physical, sexual or otherwise. But this is NOT acceptable, and this is definately not the way to deal with a problem.
People who bully, often are victims of some sort of abuse themselves, and are lashing out because they themselves don't know how to properly deal with it. These people need help and counseling, they don't deserve to be murdered and then have people say they deserved it. Sure it's horrible what they did, but 2 wrongs never make a right.

Cant even watch the whole video, whoever he is he has contridicted himself around 3 times in under 10 mins and offers no facts whatsover.
In relation to your point I cant really respond without knowing the facts. If you have ever been bullied or abused you might have a different opinion. Killing is wrong, but each person has a breaking point or limit. Either way a more credible video would offer a better opinion. Do you know where this was or have any other source?

hi get wat u mean and yes society says its wrong to kill , but wat about all the kids that have taken their own lives because of constant bullying ,do we then prosecute the bully.... don,t like openin links on line lol so won,t w\atch the video but if he truly gets off then expect a lot more deaths to happen .... we live in a sick world that will sadly just get sicker....

Well I feel very strongly for their families, and feel that there should be consequences for anyone that may directly or inadvertantly be the cause of that. However, suicide is hard as it is do deal with (I know, I lost my brother to suicide), it's also very selfish, and the persons own choice.
I personally used to really enjoy kraftnations stance on things, he seemed like an intelligent person, but after watching this video, I've really lost respect for him.

I couldnt watch the whole clip ... first it starts with some dubstep and when that guy is hopping around like in a rap video i just closed it. If you want to be serious about something dont make a video like this.

I don't think that guy (in the video) said anything at all in the whole 3 minutes.. Certainly didn't provide any useful information..
I generally agree with what you're saying retribution.
However- in regards to the person not being thrown in jail, I can't really comment on that without all the information surrounding the case. These issues are complicated and just because the kid didn't go to jail it doesn't mean they're condoning killing bullies. There are a lot of factors and large part of the idea of jail (contrary to what a lot of people seem to think) is about rehabilitation and potential threat to society. There may in some cases be better avenues..
From what I gather (from that terrible video), the kid stabbed the bully in a brawl.. So assuming the bully started the violent interaction, then the knife wound would have been inflicted as part of the kid defending himself.
It's a terrible situation regardless. Obviously as you say, the bully might easily have been a product of abuse himself and then of course the victim (of the bullying) has now also suffered abuse and it has escalated and eventually concluded in this terrible way.
Ultimately as a society welfare programs and youth workers and such as drastically under funded in many countries and situations like this can occur far to frequently. And jail time isn't always the best sociological solution to a lot of things either.
Sometimes you need to look past the kid who got stabbed or did the stabbing and ask more what we can do better as a society to help prevent abuse, bullying and violence as a whole.

well we are not judges and i am sure we do not have the full info, facts, motives, background story etc. so just to look at the video, post, or newspaper is not enough- you always must have the full picture to make any rational decision, because this is no easy thing to comment on
If you put video of that judge or someone relevant to the case we could build an opinion on that matter. But listening to some fool on youtube i just want to stab someone myself.

hate these kinda video where ppl just sit in front of camera and talk, acting like a news reporter lmao or worse making silly conclusions about others

I feel sorry for the bully and the child being bullied. If this is the case, it's sad that both of these kids parents were not involved with their childs life enough to know what their situations were. I hate to even say this, but the world is full of tragedies, always has been and probably always will be.
All I can add is if you have children be a part of their lives. Talk with them every day, not to them. Get to know the people they have as friends or if they are acting strange observe closely. We could all add advice / lectures, but we can all pay attention. Good Luck to All!

your always gonna get people sat on either side of fence but i lost a good friend to suicide and he was driven too it my 2 work colleagues , depression hit and then the pills and then the overdose.... police and courts could do nothing so a few people took the law into there own hands ,bags over heads and dumped 200 miles from home naked to give em a taste of the embarassment they put on others....
