From a personal experience as i have already said, i know that US members of Moneybookers have restrictions way before the Fulltilt story.
And we are talking for simple member to member transfers not through poker sites.

I opened a account with ClickandBuy to make a deposit to RummyRoyal after waiting 2 days for the verification process, tried to deposit, "option not available in US". Guess I loose the $4 they took out of my account for the verification. I really want to play, I am so frustrated.

I want you to know I deeply appreciate this madrof, but I don't know how you can perform a transfer on Carbon. To my knowledge or understanding I have to be able to transfer $100.00 through Carbon from player to player. I hate to ask, but if you go to Carbon, since you have an account now see what your thoughts are. Thanks for all!

Well I recently received this reply so I don't know if you want to deal with the hassle!

Please be aware that you will be able to receive a transfer without any problems. However, to be able to transfer to another player you need to complete a verification process by sending some documents, namely:

A legible copy of a valid driver's license, passport, or other government issued photographic ID.
A copy of the front and reverse sides of any credit/debit card used to deposit on your account .
A copy of the verification form found in your Player Admin.
You can scan and upload the documents through the File upload link, also found in your Player Admin. The scanned documents in total should not exceed 2MB in size. If you've saved your images as .jpg files, they will be compressed and size should not be a problem. Once we've fully reviewed your documents, we'll email you with an update.

mahdrof since you would be doing the transfer this is what you would probably have to do. That's a lot to ask of you and maybe there's an easier method to or is it even worth the $50.00 or $25 each? It's up to you, but don't feel obligated. I appreciate knowing there's people out there such as yourself to even offer. Maybe things will get better here in the U.S. this year. I'll check back, Thanks

You guys are great, but let's wait for mahdrof's feedback.

Are you already approved to do transfers? No matter who does it I have $75 worth of Mobpoints and I'll give the person who does it $25, but since mahdrof made the first offer I am giving him $25 for his kindness. That will leave me $25. Thanks!

Okay Green, sounds like you should go with HsH80 as I don't mind submitting the paperwork, however I have no intention of depositing on their site.

Ouch, this is another big hit on the chin for american poker players. We all know poker IS gambling but it doesn't ruin as my lives as casinos, who are legal anyways...

Makes me think about legal/illegal drugs like pot and alcool, who the hell decided one is good enough to be legal or not? Alcool does kill a lot of people, and not only in car crashes... Yet it's legal. I will never understand how they decide what is legal or not. In the end it's always about the economy. Angry

One thing is for sure though, If I was american, I would be very very pissed!

mahdrof, to be serious! isn't this a pain the butt and do you think I should just hold off to see what happens down the road with U.S. players? I don't want to ask favors then turn away, but didn't know someone was going to need to submit drivers license, forms and credit crad verifications.

Respect all your support and opinions, but is it this difficult to withdraw everywhere for U.S. players anymore?

hey greenmohave every skin on the merge network (carbon poker is their flagship) need these documents but you don't need to verify your credit card if you haven't made a deposit with it....anyway should i transfer you the money? if you still want it i would need your nickname and could make the transfer instantly

These requirements are not that unusual, so I am not surprised that they are asking for this. The hiccup for me was that I would have to deposit with a credit card and then send them a copy of it. HsH80 seems to be better positioned than me to tranfer the funds to you now.

Thanks mahdrof, I'll see if he replies anymore and if not, it's a dead issue until things change. Maybe I'll stockpile the Mobpoints until I have enough to re-locate outside of U.S. lol. Nah! Maybe something will change, but if there is ever anything I can check on, loan or do for you feel free to ask. My word is good and I'll do it for you! Good Luck to you and All!
