The 7th edition of Aussie Millions' $100,000 Challenge event is now over. The tournament saw a field of 22 brave players who were willing to put $100k from their own bankroll at risk. I started reading and was thinking about the eight names referred: only big stars! And then I keep reading and don’t find any of them in the final heads-up… and, even more curious, seems like only two of them made till the paid places. I know that the one million first prize could be considered almost like peanuts to any of this pros, but it will always be a stain in the career, which can affect them more because of being the beginning of the year.

i also read about all those big names entered the tourney- and considering that there were only 22 players in the field i expected to find one of them ending up with the win, at least at heads up. but as always cards show that there is no such thing as "pro" at the tables, there can only be luckiest dude on the given day and nothing more
