I have an urge to start playing WSOP qualifiers, but I dont see any on pokerstars yet. Anyone know of good sites that are already running these?? maybe some added value on some of them??? or should i just wait for stars?

A month? that a long time to go Plus im not sure about stars, i read that they actually deposit 13k into your account and you can do anything you want with it, I'll be tempted to just keep the money and not risk it. Or do all sites do that?? i'd prefer if I had no choice but to play

Kinda doubt that....
Not sure about PS, but most sites I´ve seen the promotions on only deposit the "spending money" for airfare and extras (not that much really), and take care of the Buuy-in ($10.000) and the Hotel reservations. Never heard about a site just "giving" you the money. ??
Anyways, the WSOP stuff is just starting up. Most sites will get going in the month or so to come, and even more by March/April.

At stars u can see it in the lobby under Events-> WSOP-> Steps & Sat´s. I think the best way is to play the Step-SnG´s. There is a good chance to qualify with a low budget.
I read their faq about wsop and thats what it said about depositing all of the funds into your account, and you have to buyin yourself, they are not even going to have party this year, no goody bags, and no representatives at the event.

btw. you just try to win that 'seat', and when you win - i guess its not a problem to buyin @event.. everything is easy, expect winning gl with that 15k

It's actually not that unusual- and think about it, if they put it in your account, then you're going to generate some rake for them..
However - I think it was more common like this in the past- over the last 2-3 years I've noticed more and more in the T&C that there is no cash redemption.

PS is the most known one, but there are other sites with satellites for WSOP, just don’t know if they are already running. You must be a very good player to be asking for this. I have many friends who use to play this satellites, but only one has won a WSOP package one time. They are really difficult. I sometimes think it would be better for someone who wants to go to the WSOP (which means someone who knows how to play and already makes money playing) to play normal games and make and put aside enough money to the travel and the buy-in than to go for this satellites, who can turn into a stone in the shoe if paying and losing several… Good luck for you, and come tell all mobsters if you win a WSOP Package!
