In my few years here there have been so many posts of negativity towards BRM,( everything from impatience in getting free bonuses and bankrolls, pass word thieving, complaints about not winning prizes in calendar etc.....), and it makes me wonder what is really expected of a site like this?
Lets face it, this site is a business and I am sure that BRM has been hit hard over the past few years with everything from Full Tilt, US players not having a easy time to play, world wide recessions etc. I am sure its not easy and what they do offer us not only takes a steady cash flow, but a lot of time to put together offers, seek out new sites , organize tourneys.....not to mention moderating this forum and trying to find solutions for questions asked, problems to solve and so forth.
This is not a negative post towards anyone, but just a simple reminder from one BRMer to others that be happy for what we have here as we are pretty fortunate.
Think about it. What would you do if BRM was not here?

Probably putting the final touches on a 5-bedroom Villa built from scratch considering all the time I´ve spent posting and replying to threads on BRM....
...or still playing the 1.000 field $10 Freerolls on Gear Poker where I built up my bankroll to a Gigantic 54cents before joining BRM and getting:
FREE CASH WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED!
Wouldn´t have known all these Regs who I´ve spent countless hours posting with (and playing Poker with) and had such a great time doing the last 2 years.
Besides that:
FREE CASH WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED!
BRM...my Poker Forum, my Poker Home, the place I come to laugh, the place I come to whine, the place I come to all the time... (that rhymes )

Hope it's not me either, the only thing i have complained about (really alot but justified) was on High pulse. Also closed my account there leaving some money behind and not playing the top 200 leaderboard, sometimes enough is enough. BRM in my mind is the best site concerning poker i've ever found

Good post m'lady. 2011 was a good year for me on BRM, winning $200 and getting a few free bankrolls to try out some sites. The best part IMO is the forum, and the members who post here. Through regular posting and discussing hands my game has improved an unbelievable amount, and I am grateful that this site exists and for its administration and members. We also have a lot of fun discussing and joking about off topic themes too, and who can top this classic thread:

lol thanks for the good thoughts Mober but I have not been able to open cause the owner of the hotel has been arrested for tax evasion ,( 2 hotels he did this with), and all has been ceased by the gov"t. I have lost plenty and will take years for me to get back.
Don't really want to get into my tale of woe here but thank you for the positive thoughts

Great thread. You're right of course. It is what it is, and you will get out of it exactly what you put into it. If all you do is complain(probably starting multiple threads on the same subject to build up mob points no doubt) instead of utilizing the amazing tools BRM provides for you then you are probably missing the point. The great thing about this site is that there are many regulars who don't miss the point, and I attribute them to helping me succeed in finding leaks and improving my overall poker game. I think it may not be long before poker is considered more of a sport and as such more people may realize that the more time, energy, & focus you put into improving your game, the better your results will be. In the words of the late Roger Ebert, two thumbs up, way up.

Amen! I have always been one who is very appreciative of this site, to be able to communicate with people from around the world, take part in the freebies the site offers win or lose. I honestly enjoy be able to be a part of BRM and this forum.
I know you state that your thread is not directed towards any one Mobster, but there are some people in the world who will always expect and want more. This is part of the spoils of individuals who has had a pretty good life, but yet have not acknowledged it. And, I'm not above this myself! I often forget the things that one can take for granite.
I couldn't agree more with you! When I see people complaining about delays and stuff, I feel sorry for the people who put a lot of time and effort in this site. After all, this is a win-win situation for players AND poker sites who get new customers from BRM, so there's really nothing to complain about. I just hope BRM makes enough money with advertising to make it last forever
