Wrong. Playing a lot of hands doesn't mean that will happen often. First you have to get kings 3 times in a row... Want the odds of that? Then you have to be unlucky enough to see an ace come on every board. It is far from impossible, and I've seen many worst suck outs, but its still very unlucky.

P.S. The guy giving thumbs down to everyone is a moron.

Not sure who you are replying to but
1st: of course it does happen more often by playing more hands, lol
2nd: I wasnt refering to the 3 times KK in a row thing,I was more refering to the whining about losing all 3 hands

thats why every time i get kings or aces i just go all in because every time i dont somebody catchs every time,so i rather pick up the blinds rather than get my kings or aces cracked bye a dink swimming with s**t,,

haha some of u might have a bad day but not as bad as getting 3x( KK) in a row in ps & losing all 3 to A7,A3,A9 respectively, instead of breaking my PC, i laughed my a55 of, cause its fkn unbelievable & hilarious, from leading position to getting knocked out

lol @ this thread...
If what happens to you was any bad I would be opening a thread like this pretty much every hour I'm playing at all

first i can bet u anything u have never gottten 3 KK in a row & lost all 3, so stop with the attitude , if it happens to u , am sure u will be the 1st to b****h about it, don't be cocky & fyi i can whine any way i want since its my money ,

it was the perfect time for me to chose this thread. I just fold KK in a final table of an $100 GTD tourney. Blinds 300 600, first to talk with KK, i decided to go with 1800 (wrong decision, i know now). Only the chipleader went to see the flop with me, and we saw 10,J,A. I took a while before cheking (didnt wanted to compromise the game, but just did) and, of corse, he made a nice bet to see me folding. I am still in the game, but it wont take too long before i go away, i think. Still 8 in the table, 4 paid places and im 7th...

Good fold Fakiry... u probably would get a Q on the turn but oh well Blink

Don’t laugh at me I was nervous, I should have gone all-in being first to talk when I got that hand KK. I put my opponent with an A and screwed all my tournament. You can’t imagine how it ended for me: we were only 6, I got QQ and this time I went all-in, and again the chipleader calls me with Ax and the table gave him an Ace. Oh well, I will go again for it next weekend!

Right,I would be the first one to bs about it..while I play thousands of hands on most days, see more bad beats in a day than you probably do in a while month.. in fact I wouldnt even notice if I would get KK 3 times and lose it all 3 because I'm not results oriented and watch every single showdown.
I'm just sick of what the BRM forum has turned to - a forum where people that dont understand variance open 1783927839193 threads per day about their bad beats, how rigged the softwares are and whatnot.

Thanks in advance for the numerous thump downs I will receive

I know m8 i was just pulling ur leg a bit Smile
On that spot i would do probably the same thing, and besides u were the one at the table seeing how everyone was playing for some time... if u were putting him on a ace there was nothing else u could do.

As well as QQ (even worse),

yeah..not gonna say anything but NEVER fold KK..well..almost never lol. You didn't say what was your stack but nonetheless you should've gone allin there ..standard play unless you had over 15bb...and even then.. Often when you openshove you represent a lighter hand then when raising. And another thing..it isn't enough to play according to your stack, you also have to take into account the other players stacks because those are the effective stacks.. You should look into that.

Nice....
People don´t mention this enough, but effective stacks... Thumbs Up
The effective stack size is the smallest stack in the hand or behing you still able to go into the hand or raise all-in.
It´s what you stand to lose by going allin or playing a hand agressively.

Something I am still learning to pay attention to (and mostly failing Big Smile ), because it is such an important concept.

As to the KK .... hate the hand. Big Smile
QQ is even worse.. Confused
Often out of position, an almost definite shove should you get shoved on or not, and totally out of your control once you are all-in.

I prefer a J10, 98s etc. in position any day of the year.
At least YOU decide what to do with it and how to play it. Blink

(going to get a whole load of "flac" on this one... Smile )

Agreed - absolutely crucial.. I still see some tourney regs that fill the same games I do, winning players mind you - that talk about set-mining, playing speculative hands like 89s and yet completely ignoring effective stacks sizes.

Oh - and a little tip- that I read in a good poker book - in mutliway pots, when trying to determine a course of action and in particular - when trying to work out which effective stack to go by, make all your adjustments to match the weakest opponent - because that's the person you're trying to beat and the one most likely to give you their chips.

I actually believe that action flops on PS are more suitable for that kind of situation.

By the way, don't forget to make a good raise on pre-flop so you can avoid the aces. It's the only way make yourself know that you REALLY have a good hand.

Kind of:
"Don't mess with me now 'cause I'm on fire!"

By the way, I just had a similar hilarious experience yesterday.
I was on a freeroll in PP while I was going throw my emails and within a while I was sitting out on the tourney. When I got back in the game I verified I had just folded an AA. As I quicklly clicked on the "I'm Back" button I went back to my emails. When I checked back on the tourney I was sitting out again and had folded another AA. Almost had a stroke

Best of luck on your future bets

PMSL

I often multi-table MTTs on PKR - and they don't sync breaks. So with 6-9 tourneys at a time, I have no choice sometimes (food, toilet, coffee, etc) but to miss a hand or two - I try and go during the breaks of the more important tables.. But anyway - I can't count the amount of times I've come back just in time to see my Aces mucked..
