I try to play only good hands like ak aa kk aq and qq. Positition is always important. You can raise 56 on the button and when you hit you can make a lot off cash. Out ot position i play also suited connectors they can make a lot of profit. I prefer 4 tables. If i use more tables my screen is to small for all of the tables and this is not fine playing

I only play on my laptop with just a 15" monitor, so 4 tables is the maximum to play it tiled.
But nevertheless this is also the max. number I can play without making to much wrong decisions.

Maybe multi tables are not for you. Try only 2 tables to see if you are ok with it. I only play 1 table but sometimes will over lap in a game and have 2 games at once. Just concentrate. Smile

Good points by all!

I read at the start of the thread that playing "that way" wouldn't be fun. While i also haven't managed to use huds effectively in game, and i can see why you say it. Almost like its becoming more work then fun kinda sentiment. Many people swear by them but for me its not essential in the games i play, micro stakes.

Another point i read was that you could stick to playing monsters and limit your risk of making bad plays. Another person also mentioned this was the trade-off you sacrifice playing more then one table.

Personally im of the same mind. I want to have fun and winning is fun. I have a better chance of winning playing more then 1 table. I feel confident in my game but i can't rely on the cards to come or hold in a game when i need it to. Because i play more then 1 table, i find it much easier to make folds because of the constant stimulation from so many hands. Playing hands like QJ usually leads to a tougher decision then say AQ. Calling raises with any hand is also harder to do with less then a strong holding, simply put you just move onto the next hand at another table.

Again this isnt to say most people dont play exactly the same on 4 tables as they would on 1 table. I would argue most good players play what is called ABC poker at all times.

Another thing i found helps is to play 4 games in a grid but once u run deep or need to pay more attention you autopilot the other games and maximize the feature table.

Specifically in cash i also find i cant play one table. AT ALL! when i try i overplay hands and do other stupid things i never should do. People in cash multy table and they just pick u off waiting for the hands to turn into monsters.

Either way if you apply yourself you'll do fine so long as you dont play with half ur roll Blink

cant really give any advise. I can just say ty for all the tips here. Well in a sit n go I also made it up to 4 tables, because when the blinds are big you just play your cards and not the player. ( only problem: Playing 4 heads up at once. But in cash games I play only 2 tables playing not only my cards but also the players. Agree
