Not a good freaking night for me :(  0
Ugh, seriously absolutely horrid luck at the table tonight. I literally went 20 10man STT in a row without so much as a min-cash. THIS is the kind of crap I've been dealing with all night:

***** Hand History for Game 11431393075 *****

Hero shows [ Ac, Ad ]two pairs, Aces and Tens.
hvac5e2 wins 4,060 chips from the main pot with a straight, Ten to Ace.
Hero finished in 8 place.

Like really, wtf is he 4-betting and then calling my 5-bet shove with fucking AJ suited? Like wow, what part of my 3-bet and then shove didn't cry out "Omg I have fucking aces, fold you moron"?

Overall, was down 20 BI right before I was about to end my session, but managed to ship my last 2 so ended up down just 9-buyins, less the points I won from one of the Cash Cards I earned from the promo they are currently running. FML. Aww crap!

*Edit* Finished the session -34.8% ROI, while my adjusted EV graph shows I should have run around +23%. Nothing like running cold and way under expectation. At least I played well.

There is nothing you can do, you put ur stack at right spot, just didnt have luck there. Dont stress a lot about those situations, just try to stay calm and improve your game as much as you can.

P.S. Recently, I have been playing 11$ BIG tournament on Stars for more than 3 hours and i finished 10 positions from the money with AA in hands, against 55! As you said "At least I played well. ". Blink

I know that very bad but iff AA wins everytime then you don't have allin so much, even for a flush he could make. You did youre best to get all money in the middle because there is the AA the strongest hand (preflop) and then after it where do you stand? It is poker and 7 cards for you and 7 cards for the other player and take the best of 5 and that is it, the best hand wins.

Live with it and go on, play youre best more you can't do and there is always a bad beat or a downswing because you can't win all!

Iff i get everytime a caller allin with AA i am very happy, even or i win or lose Big Smile because no caller is only blinds Blink And that is not what you want. Confused

Don't know why you are complaining about villains play, 87% of the time he'll call and lose which obviously is good for you long term.

I'm really just flabbergasted by his line, especially his min-reraise. I mean to me, it seems like an easy laydown given the action. I'm just annoyed because this is the kinda bad play I ran into all night. Seemed like I literally could NOT win, no matter what I did. /rant Big Smile

Exactly the same thing happened to me with AA vs AJ on red kings the other day, exactly the same lol weird. And then i got beat with A 10 suited on the button by 8 4 suited, i swear that site is having a laugh. I've just stared shoving with any suited crap on that site, because everyone else is always suckin out on me by doing that, and its working so far.

Hi guys!!

The hand is a good example for the play vs donks. We don't know why they play the hand like that. But we really want to be allin preflop Aj vs AA. Even with the hurt of losing the hand.

Sure you will have better results next time, retribution!

I am with you pal, yesterday I lost 13€ from my 23€ account, which means more than 50%... Things went wrong at ring tables, at tourneys, at SnGs. Everything gone bad. Lost two times with AA all-in pre-flop, two with AK, one with JJ and another with 1010. This means I lost all the best hands I had yesterday afternoon, and the other hands, the not so good ones, they just didn’t gave me anything in exchange.

Seems when things are bad (like a 10 game run without placing in $$) they're just bad. I hit days like this every so often, but I only play in the micro SnG's. I get pizzed when someone stays with their 9,2 and I have A,10 and the flop is 10, 10, K, I bet 750 and he calls, Q on the river I'm allin and he calls. Then a J on the turn and he wins a poop pot bunch of my chips. Some night, hands or games just seem to be against you no matter what. They'll change and you'll be back on track.

Ugh, so my "runbad" is continuing. Played 2 sessions tonight, totalling about 45 sngs. First session went decent, ran about even until the end, finishing up about 3BI. Took a break to watch a movie with the gf, and when I came back it was more of the same b******t. Ridiculous runbad, running into horrible bad luck. I literally could NOT win to save my life. And to top it all off, I swear I have never seen more straights in my entire poker playing history. I counted around 30 in total, with me getting exactly one.

Ran -21.9% ROI, whereas according to adjusted EV, I should have run around 8%. Means I'm running a total of -13.8% ROI this month, over 300 SNGS, whereas I SHOULD be running around 11%.

I'm just flabergasted Aww crap! About to put on my tinfoil hat and join the rigtards if this keeps up.

Oh, just a couple quick hands to highlight my "great luck":

Really, not a terrible call by villain, especially since he's in BB and I'm shoving from HJ, he assumed correct I'd be shoving lighter and he's already committed a good portion of his stack and he's got my shoving range covered, but COME ON ANOTHER flopped straight?

That's the crap I've been running into. I JUST came back from a break from poker because of this crap, and it's still going on Sad

Hi again. If I was you I'd have another break. About a month and then try again. As had already been said you are playing correctly just not having any luck.

GL to you in the future...................

Don't tilt Thumbs Up

So I guess this will be my official tilt/rant page while I continue the grind. Update tonight, continued my awesome downswing for awhile, was down another 14 BI before I finally hit a nice upswing and actually shipped like 4 in a row. Up about 5 BI for the night. Didn't run into many straights tonight, but a LOT of trips hit when I was ahead on a flip Aww crap!

Why don't you stop playing turbo tables for a while? I sometimes think that villains seem more willing to get it all in on turbo's as they are afraid to get blinded out which is why you see more suck-outs. Also you have less time to wait for a good spot.

Well I understand the logic, unfortunately Turbos are what I specialize in, thus it's where I feel I have the biggest edge on my opponents. While it's true you have less time to wait for a good spot, if you've got a good knowledge of ICM and shove/fold ranges, you can do very well in these, plus they are great because you can put in a set in a fraction of the time it takes to play a set of the normals. The tradeoff unfortunately is much higher variance Sad

------------
And it continues. Play a micro session tonight, ended up stuck another 7 buyins. I just can't believe the flips I am losing, I am starting to lose my mind here. In one tourney, there was a short stack to my left and I literally shoved into him not 1 but FOUR times in a row and lost when I had him crushed every single time. I went from chip lead to out in 4 orbits. I literally sat there staring at the screen for a moment, shocked and stunned. Had it happened in just ONE tournament I could have accepted it, but it actually happened TWO FUCKING TIMES in the same session. Twice I went from lead to out, getting called down with trash and losing flips I was the favorite in on the bubble.

AA is a gift if you are chip leader probably its good to raise 4-6BB and pray some one to call then bang all in.If you asre short probably is good to go all in from the start because letter maybe will be to late Cool
