Jokerstars??  -2
Is it just me or Pokerstars game engine really chooses cards for sides?
It's incredibly unbelievable the amount of times I get to loose for flush when going all-in.

Other poker rooms don't seem to show this (*I don't know how to call it, or better saying... I do... but don't wanna be rude so...) bug.

Check out these freerolls today:

Player 1 goes all-in with As 8s
Player 2 goes all-in with Ah 8c

Surprise? 3 spades on the table Thumbs Up

I raise on preflop (130 chips on a 20/40 blind) with Qs Js
Other player pays with As 3h

Flop: 3d Jc Qh

Obviously... I make an average bet (180 chips on a 300 pot) since there is still no possible flush on table and no possible straight.
The other player pays.

Surprise? 3 of spades Thumbs Up
I obiously never guess that he had paid my preflop raise with a 3 and keep betting untill I realise it's my last
Disagree

Going all-in with AdAs
I guy pays with 8h6d

Surprise? (No really.... I should have made a print screen of that) 4 hearts in the table Thumbs Up

Really... each time I play Pokerstars I'm more convinced it's a complete waste of my time.
I guess the only way to play Pokerstars is NEVER LET PEOPLE SEE THE RIVER.
I've been playing on PartyPoker since I registered at Bankrollmob and those kind of situations rarelly happen.

The reason you see so many flushes on stars is because on the freerolls and the micro stakes there are a lot of idiots that will call a preflop raise with any two suited cards. Then after the flop if they hit just one of their suit they'll chase it all the way to the river.

So, just more callers and chasers than their would normally be.

It's not rigged, it's not a bug, it's just statistics.

There may even be an element of a self fulfilling prophecy involved. If a site gets a reputation for dealing an abnormally large number of flushes, you get more players chasing those (mythical) flushes. Thus causing more flushes to be dealt and perpetuating the myth even further.

A simple exercise in critical thinking would surely draw you to the question "Why on earth would poker stars favour people hitting their flushes in freerolls / micro tournaments?" and the obvious answer - they wouldn't.

Pokerstars is at the moment the biggest site on the net. More players means statistically more fish, donks... So the chance that you sit at a table where players fish or just make dumb calls and get a lucky flush on the river is higher, particularly in freerolls.

Unfortunately conspiracy theorists don't tend to be the most critical thinkers.

Been reading these forums for years now and have never reacted to the rigged comments but i find it so tipical that always the same people at this site are on top of anyone who dears to think that a site maybe has housebots, bots, house players, set up hands etc etc .... Of course they do ...everyone whith a brain can see there are things happening also at the big sites that just are complete BS...these people that are so agressive to defend these sites and i have even see them treaten people untill they just give up obviously have an interrest in doing that because they been doing it for years here. And just because a hand history maybe look oke does not say anything about the outcome of deciding hands in big pots or critical times in a tournament..And big sites do have a reason to cheat...MONEY !! ...If they can make 10 times more by cheating with house bots for example in tournaments THEY WILL and THEY ARE ...If you think every player on pokerstars is a human you must have a plate in front of your face...If pokerstars only lets a few bots in every tournament they can make millions more every month...And now with all the small sites so openly cheating and all the shady stuff happening at almost every site i cant believe people still think online poker is real...ITS NOT....you win sometimes yes and some people must win ...i dont say they havent thought about it ...they smart...BUT ITS A COMPUTERPROGRAMME...A VIDEOGAME....MADE BY PEOPLE WHO WANT MONEY ....AMAP !!!
Now all the people who have an interest in defening this online BS poker take a shot ....i know you will ...you been doing it for years....i wonder why...????
Call this reaction rigtard reaction, or conspiracy theorist or come with some hand history BS
The fact is 99,99% of small players will never make it big online ... not because they play bad ...no because these computer programs wont let them
Just like online casino's the casino pushes the win or loose button its not random....you think for example online BJ is random....you must be crazy or just dumb
1 more time everyone with a brain can see that also at the biggest site of the world cards arent falling naturaly whatever you PS or PP defenders whill say to this....its a fact...
So to everyone and in this case H4RMony ....yes u are right and dont make these agressive people that populate these forums make you think otherwise....your brain is obviously working

You use the word fact quite freely. Well facts require evidence, and I mean real evidence not just anecdotal. Without evidence your facts are just an opinion.

Bring me evidence and I may take it seriously.

You people always give the same answers just like now....in 2 seconds they want proove....well everyone with a brain can see the proove happening and everyone who does not see it or says he/she doesnt is an employe of BRM or a big pokersite or just a retard and i know you guys get payed and populate these forums all day just to overpower reactions like this with stupid reactions and of course us "rigtards" can never win because we have other things to do and you people just gang up at forums and bully people or smuther their treads with tons of your reactions.

I can give a lot of proove but i dont get payed to do this like you guys so its just simple
If you intelligent you see things that arent right..many many things..folow your instinct because its right......

But no problem i will be gone and let u guys take over the forum again making people think its safe to play online poker...hope you feel great about that..

So I get paid by BRM and the poker sites eh? That would be why I have made a massive 37 posts in 9 months.

Like I said conspiracy theorists aren't very critical thinkers.

Anyone 'with a brain' as you put it, (although I don't know how I'm capable of typing this message let alone playing poker if i haven't,) would think hold on a minute, this is a FREEROLL, with 5000-10000 people. There's alot at stake if you want to earn money from nothing so you get angry more easily, and there will be people who don't care because of this fact ('donks'). Now lets just take his second hand as an example since that is the most laughable one QsJs vs his As 3h, he didn't give position so I'm going to have to go on statistics (which is what most of your flawed and biased argument is about.) But any way, for a start he shouldn't have called, an okay he did and was favourite preflop, but was only favourite PREFLOP. And it was roughly 55% for a3 and 45% for QJ. So that means 45 out of 100 times QJ is going to win, and there is 10000 people, so in an hour, you might see that showdown 100 times if you where to watch all the tables at once, and i bet you it would be roughly the percentage i just gave you. I don't get payed by pokerstars and i think you are ridonkulous for even suggesting anyone on a site which specialises in no deposit bonuses gets payed for bad mouthing impulsive idiots.

i don't want and i can't say pokersites are cheating because just like zeroster says if you do so you have to proof it but everyone may have his own opinion.....there are strange things happening sometimes that is one of the reasons people think its cheating.
one of my examples is getting 5 time's after each other the same cards.
it happend to me and not one time this kind off things make you think.

but then i still wouldn't say sites are cheating you can discuss this till we all are dead or till someone come's whit big evidence poker is kind off gambling difference between casino gamlings is here you have the advantage to use your brains and luck to set out a strategy in the real casinos like slots and everything you just push the buttons and you have no influence on the gambling the computer does the rest that's my expirience off 17 years off gambling in casino's.
and i would give you the advice playing poker will definitly give you more chance to win some money i play online poker for about 7 months now and i just lost about $75 dollars but won about $1250 dollars if i played 7 months in the casino i know for shure i had lost about $8000 dollars in that months ....for me no casino's anymore i stick whit poker and i have already saved a lot off money this way so use the advantage off your brains and take the risk if it's worth taking it when gambling on poker sites.....and nobody is forcing you so if you don't like it and you can't handle the way you lose just stop playing poker.....................................................................

I second that notion, you have ALOT more control over how your fate is determined when playing poker, I'd say so much so that if you play well 75% of your fate is in your control, and barring fluctuation you're the only one who is to blame. Go and put all of your money on red on a roulette table if you are incapable of self control.

pfff... actually... when I saw that 3 coming it was quite obvious I had already lost. Just went all the way to confirm that BS, as much as it sounded ridiculous.
And no... sorry but this things happen like 9 out of 10 freerrolls, but don't happen in other poker rooms.
So... yes, I defend that if you want to make money, don't waste your time in PS

I play various online games, board games card games etc. and not for money, where an element of luck is involved. Be it cards, dice are whatever. the one thing all those games have in common is threads in their respective forums claiming that it's rigged.

At the end of the day people just want something to blame when it goes wrong for them. In real life it would be blamed on bad luck but as soon as a piece of software is involved the conspiracies start to fly.
