Well I observed the table a bit and noticed that he likes to do continuation bets and will force his opponents out of the hand on every street if he can so I let him do that to me

What I usually do is sit at the table with $25 and sit quiet for the first round to see who does what. Then after that 1st round is over I pick a target that I'll raise everytime he limps just for the sake of it. And while I am doing this I take notes on the players when the do big bets and show their hands etc.

last time you played your aces good(im talking when you AA was cracked by 2h3h ) so play your aces more aggressive than just calling station style raise preflop every time

hmmm,,, dont see it as that well played,,,,,,trip aces against possible made flush,,,u hit full on river,,, so u beat flush even if he calls or gos all in,,,,looks like he was a flushhunter who luckily for him didnt hit his flush and made a standard fold,,,,and u slow played with 3 diamonds on flop,,,or did u slow play because u where scared of made flush,,,,well whatever ,,,,

i think you just got lucky. you didnt "trap" him or do anything profound. if he had hit his flush on the river instead of you hitting your full, he'd be the one saying he "trapped" you.
yea i dont think you made a great play, i think you made the only reasonable play. r diamonds on the flop and someone bets out, you have a set, you flat call,
there isnt much else you could do in that situation, if you raise he folds if hes bluffing or reraises if he has the hand, you are just lucky that you hit your full on the end, and even then he didnt fall for you trap because he didnt call the mini raise on the river.
if a blank had of came on the river, not a diamond and not the board pairing would you have still been able to raise him, or would you have just flat called and hoped
