Since january this year i focus my game on heads up holdem/omaha mixed game. I play aggresive, tricky, a little loose sometimes, and found myself there. So far i made about 400, playing HU snt and HU shootout tournaments.
Problems in the past: You know that fealing when you play perfect poker for couple of hours and then you make some bad read, or lose with AA vs 55 on bubble (happened recently) and you spend a lot of time for nothing... Very frustrating, isnt it.
So this is my way to earn some cash, have fun, play every hand, think a lot, and the most important thing NOT STRESSING MYSELF!!!
If you are about to try it, i have some groundrules for you. 1. Never stop playing if you are in a winning streak. 2.If you lost two matches in a row, take a break (15 min, half an hour, make sure you get over losing hands, forget it) 3. Never play for bigger stakes to recover recent loss. Focus on your game, try to improve it. 4. Be aggresive and play smart!

Congratulation , finally you found your way and thanks for tips. How much buy in did you play ? I ever try before and lost patient cos just get small profit. Medium buy in is not my skill level. how many percent did you win ? example : play 10 HU and win 6 , so 60%.

Your advices are very good, but I have a question about what you wrote before the groundrules. “Play every hand”, you say. You mean like, at least, see the flop? Calling a big bet preflop with nothing good in the hand just to see what the flop brings? Ok, sometimes it can bring a full house, but, in most cases, it doesn’t brings anything, and even when it does, the best chances are to get two pairs, but the percentage of getting this with J2 or 93 aren’t much, so I consider sometimes its better to fold preflop than to call, even in HU. Clarify me about this, please. It is important for me to know if the best to do is to see every flop or not.

great to see someone making money- keep it up dude. i like the way you think about money management- same works well in any form of gambling- when you are on a winning streak: play more, you may even raise stakes (only from winnings), when you are on a loosing streak: take a break, lower the stakes

I knew jovica played a lot of HU based on his threads, but I've never felt comfortible playing straight up HU. Is there some reference literature that one of you Mobsters could reference for someone to read up on HU? By the way that's a good BR you've built up kwasac so good luck conyinuing your run as to all mobsters!

I agree its almost perfect way to make money, but steell you have win some multy table torney to make so huge move.transfering on levels from 1.5 to 3.5 its easy but you must first have bankroll of 100 to move to 3.5 then 400 to move to 7 etc very hard work.I play HU 3.5 then invest in 10.5KO HU to jump to another level via 2.87 sat of saturday duel.sometimes its works but bad luck do the rest
