Sean Jazayeri Wins WPT LA Poker Classic ($1,370,240)

It ended up being an amateur who won the prestigious World Poker Tour LA Poker Classic! Sean Jazayeri went to the WPT Boot Camp with hopes of improving his game and maybe winning a $1,000 buy-in event. Another amateur with low expectations taking a huge first prize, these are great news. I always tend to question poker pros credibility when reading something like this. After all there were a bunch of pros in the game, but they just didn’t enough to block Jazayeri to build his way to the top. And those final hands are also very nice. Although we can see a point of what some call luck in those flops, the truth is Jazayeri played well with those hands, taking in consideration his chip stack.

2 lucky hands and $500k more reward for him... I am not glad to see end like this, but they have been played a lot to get there, i beileve both of them just want to end this as soon as possible.

That's bad azz! It just goes to show that if you think your a relatively good player and have the cash to enter the big games you could just come out on top. I think within the next five years I'm going to try a few of these big buy-ins. I mean the temptation is great, but to lose $10,000 for as hard as I have to work for it I just don't know.

Congratulations to him and his new life!
