That's a terrible idea. If there's someone (or someones) that plays the same number, it won't feel so good when he beats you to it. Just pick a different number each day... This "tactic" is usually based on the assumption that the chance for your number coming up, increases each time you don't hit. This is just plain nonsense, it remains the same 0,1% each time...

I don't know that it does. So unless you do know, there is no sense in risking it. Just assume it only changes after it's guessed by someone (that's what I think is the case, though that's purely based on assumption), otherwise you have no hope of winning anything more than $20...

Well guys I don't know if this is a good tactics... it's just that you jave to wait for the prize to reach $40 or more then buy about 650-850 shots which will cost you 850 mob points... ( I don't know if we r able to buy that much... ) then try quickly... it's worth to spend this for 4k mob points...

I concede that you are both right about this; my assumption was incorrect. According to the text below the safe:
You get 1 free shot at the safe for every 24 hours. The code changes when the prize goes up.
The first one of these statements was already found to be incorrect; you don't get a free shot, if you have any unused shots (either if you have not used your previous free shot yet, or if you've bought/won shots). Also it seems that you get an extra shot, after the safe is cracked (I don't know if this is fixed already).
Has anyone cracked the safe yet using the same code again after the prize went up?

this is something that puzzles me too. i won 50 safe shots just yesterday and i'm thinking of how is the correct play in these cases, something that never bothered me till now. Best thing to do would be to spend them all in one time, starting and ending before the code changes, so that i'll have 50/1000 = 1/20 chances of hitting it correct
I think i will isolate one digit, and play the first or last fifty numbers of it, like x00 to x49... Of course it's pure luck, but at least it seems decent to me hmm, any other suggestions?

yep u are right, lower variance this way. gl just imagine u had 1000 shots, if u use them all same time- u'll win atleast once. but if u use them once a day, u may not win due to variance.

yeah, thanx Noob, although i used all fifty just before a while with no win, i think that was good tactic. I was tempted to wait for maybe another 50 safe shots from the calendar to get 1/10 chances... But hey, what the heck... doesn't matter, it was fun!

I won 50 shots twice and tried all 100 numbers from 900 to 999. A number starting with 1 had previously been correct twice in a row so i thought the correct number now by chance can't be starting with 1 again, so i chose the 1st digit randomly a 9 and tried every number that starts with a 9, cause i thought if the correct number most likely isn't starting with 1, by guessing every number that starts with a 9 i should have about 1/9 chance to win.. Now i didn't get lucky and didn't win the money, but i think my strategy was pretty good and i will use it again probably next time and hopefully win.
