Hi all.
I'm shooting a documentary on the rise of the contemporary poker phenomenon and its effect on young people specifically students. I'm targeting my documentary specifically at this group because A. This group is probably the least financially stable B. I believe in the UK at least they are one of the biggest target markets for poker companies and C. They are the next generation of poker players and the future of poker lies in their hands.
I'm a student myself and I've noticed a lot of increasing links between poker and students. It's actually kind of worrying when you see a first year student who has just taken out a huge student loan regularly playing cash games with £200 of his own in his stack. I've heard off loads of online poker sites targeting student markets and been offered a job to promote a certain poker site on campus. There are also a number of national student poker tournaments propping up.
So i'd like to hear from any young person or student at BRM who spends a significant amount of time playing poker. My documentary will aim to provide a balanced expose about the issues and attractions of student poker through a number of interviews. A virtual interview with an online player is a nice idea I had. If anyone would be interested please let me know where you study, how long you've been studying, and how much you play poker. Doesn't have to be a UK student as an international pov may be beneficial.

Thanks for the support guys. I've still got a lot of work to do on it and the deadline is looming but if it's good enough I'll happily share a youtube link. I'm just in the process of conducting interviews and I find myself with very little time thanks to uni work and my bar job. I'm open to ideas if anyone has any suggestions as to what can go in my documentary.
