I have been playing online for three years now, but I don't play every day. Just about to reach 300 000 hands (0.01/0.02, 0.02/0.04). Anyway, can someone with more experience explain something if that is possible at all. Why is it that after so much hard work I tend to lose everything in a day or two. After getting promotion/bonus I earned 58$ on 0.01/0.02 in a month. Then I lost 40$ on 0.01/0.02 mixing it with 0.02/0.04 in only two days. But the thing is how I lost them. KK beat my AA on the river twice after going all in after the flop. Lost AA 3 times all on the river against chasers for straight (2 times) and flush and I also went all in after the flop just to discourage them from chasing. Flopped a full house but the guy flopped four of a kind and of course I lost all in. Lost AK against AA (guy just called my 0.16 raise) and flop came out AK5 so another all in goodbye. Lost two times sets on flop (333, 999) against bigger sets (JJJ on turn, QQQ on river). This is not the first time. This happened already few times after receiving free money/promotion/bonus things. I'm paranoid, to me it looks like software lets me clear my bonus, just to encourage me to play more or even to persuade me to invest my own money and after that with crazy outcomes it takes back most of my earnings. Any reasonable explanation apart from UNLUCKY. To me it's fishy. And because I don't play with my own money, I'm completely relaxed, I don't go on tilt, I don't do stupid moves, don't chase, don't play out of position and so on. Everything is fine for a month or two and I always slowly move up with earnings but soon I crush in described ways. What is annoying you can't pull out of those hands because they are great hands. Software drags me into them. Seems to me all of it is bunch of crap, rigged software for action, nothing more or less. Or I'm the unluckiest guy in the world.

hard to say you are unluckiest person in the world or you are just over-reacting to normal variance without analysis of your hands.the thing is variance can be very cruel itself. but if you think software is rigged, you can analyze the hands yourself to see if its within normal limits.

I played a lot more hands online and i think NO you are not the unluckiest guy in the world. Very often it seems they let you win a bit especialy in the beginning yes.. It always seems you cant loose for a while but as soon you move up in limits or you won a sertain amount then you go down and there is nothing to do about it... I have won quite a few tournaments 2 even with a few thousands people in it. But i never thought it was becuase i played so good. In those tournaments i could play 28 and the flop was 228 or something. No even if i win its still only because the pokerroom feels its time for me to win. And if you ever withdraw then it seems you cant win anything for a longngnggnn while. Thats why i almost dont play poker online anymore ....only for "fun" sometimes
Yea that's exactly what I thought like you said - pokerroom feels its time for me to win. Well DOZN01 how can I question my play when I hit a set or when I have AA and someone destroyes me by chasing on the river. Just look at the hands I have given you. I can't move up stakes as I don't have money. Actually I do but I don't trust software to invest my own money. My plan was to earn something first then move up but like this I can't move up. I mean I'm always around 100-200$ and soon I crush back to nothing thanks to described situations.

Nobody said that someone is cheating someone else. Just that software encourages action. You have to be blind not to see that. Anything or anyone is innocent until proven guilty. It´s up to the people making claims to prove their point. Period.

most of human attributes including IQ, height, weight etc follow normal distribution so u can say around 50% will lie on positive side of the graph. but rake makes many of them losers, so yes around 30% will be the right number. but again depends on how u define a winning player

Scratch that: up to now it´s always! Maybe you can turn that around by showing some numbers and prove me wrong. Always open to be proved wrong. That´s a fact.
Nonsense 1 is not Nonsense. Ever hear a middle or up player complain about rigged sites? I haven´t. And don´t tell me you have, prove it by supplying a link if you do.
Nonsense 2 is Nonsense. I have absolutely NO proof of that fact and I just invented "half of the members here" on the spot because it sounded imposing.

Well you must be living one a Island Jack because there have been tons of middle and high limit players and even lots of pro's claiming online poker is lets call it rigged. Toooo many stories and pro's talking about it last few years Even high limit players leaving because of the in their eyes unrealistic game Most pro's dont even play online for that same reason Not going to searche the whole net for old stories but you can find lots yourself believe me

Who said I was a losing player that complains?! So far I tried on 5 different poker sites and from the beginning I always manage to slowly earn some money. Sometimes I go up to 100$ sometimes up to 200$ or even 300$ (my record) but the problem that happens is my first post in this topic. I have been stubborn enough but kinda losing interest lately thats why posted here. Now that I fallen again I can come back to 200$ again to fall back to 120$ in 2 days then go back to 180$ in 20 days then fall back to 120$ in 24 hours or lose everything. Those are my experiences. Forget the word RIGGED ok. Lets call it enhanced system software that encourages action (not cheating) so people have more fun and play more. Just recently I started playing LIVE with my friends and great cards don't come around that often. I went to local poker club in my place just to talk to people who spend their lives in the club. They don't have many insane stories as from online poker. Just some of them have seen AA vs KK or AA vs AA or straight flushes after years of playing. But ONLINE helloooo you have anything and everything. Any time I play online within an hour or two or within 1000 hands I see AA vs KK, KK vs QQ, AA vs AA. Once I even managed to get AA three consecutive hands!!!!! Three consecutive hands it must be realistic. I guess LIVE poker is rigged. Since I started playing LIVE with my friends my best pairs were KK and JJ and so far only once all of us have seen someone holding AA.

well admin removed my link but it was a link to a WSOP bracelet winner who among lots of other pro's and big players claim online poker is rigged. Some of his words are:
“There is a theme here that cannot be questioned…getting it in with AK or AQ vs Ax and they hit x…every time…getting it in with top 2 against bottom 2, and they hit there bottom pair again?!?! it happened 9 times in the past 2 days…i just checked…Pair over pair forget it…now I have chalked up losing sessions and all that to variance in the past, but someone needs to explain to me how this is even possible.”
One explanination he suggests for his bad beats involve “hot” IP addresses, which act as a lottery and favour particular players. He also mentions falling victim to the infamous ‘cash-out curse’ at various times in the past
