hey everyone just thought id post about my first place finish in the infamous brm leaderboardfreeroll on stars. i was gonna video tape final table but completely forgot about that till it was heads up and almost over lol. was a fun game got to heads up with a pretty big advantage and minus one double up for him where i had KQ and he had K10 hearts, flopped the king with two hearts and well ya he got a nice double up but i built it back up and eventually owned him when he was only about 100k above me when i made an all in call with second pair against his to my very much releif bottom pair.
good luck everyone in these and other tournaments cheers to all my brm hommies

thats really some achievement, especially on stars where the field gets pretty big. congrats on your win and hopefully you get some more decent finishes to stay up the leader board. good luck and well done again

Good one pokershark. Since its in Poker Stars im sure thats something not easy according to the numbers the freerolls get. How many players did you have to beat in order to win this? I bet when that game starts its like the one on FT where it was an al in contest

It is a damn near impossible thing to do lol I would like anyone reading this post who has one twice or more on this leaderboard to share their stories for us to see lol
I love pokerstars put my own money and play tourneys do ok but as for the freerolls I find them a better way to eat your poker time up then pay off in the bankroll department lol but still would like to here about multiple winners if they are here and reading lol

it was 1700 and change something like 1770 to start and yes like most micro stakes or freeroll tournaments it was a donkeys game of dodging logically right calls that would turn and or river me if i would have stayed and making a few hero calls as well as some nicely times monster hands paying off. all and all i played well and it showed both in the continuous upward climb of chip stack as well as the lack of no brainer mistakes that undeniably hurt your chances greatly in the long wrong of a tournament stlye game.
and michael ill let ya know in this thread when i take my next one

Congratulations pokershark74, I am glad you made! I have already been at your table in some of these freerolls, and I know you are one of the players who know how to behave at these freerolls to try to achieve first place. I didn’t knew you never won any other before, I thought you did because you play very nice.

Gratz for the shipping! To win a stars freeroll is verry strong, sometimes i think you need a river protection software. How money hours did you play for your first place?
