Definitely things can become trickier in a tournament setting, there's always lots of variables you can add to that calculation, but that's a whole topic in and of itself. Generally, though if it is likely to move me way up in position and is statistically the right call, go for it.

Yeah FallFanDave (Are you a skydiver? Or just trip a lot?) I'd say that's the other big thing, Go as far as saying probably even more impotant that folding lost causes, tough to say. But many bank rolls have pissed away on a tilt streak.

I control tilt quite well.
But patience is a tougher adversary - if you can sit through 20 mins of no action without getting frustrated you are doing good.
Play shorter handed games if you prefer fast and furious.
Also like some poker pro says, if you're at a table and you struggle to stay focused, you shouldn't be playing - for a number of reasons - namely getting information on others which is vital. How they play, how they raise, what their range is....etc
