Hi guys new to this site and figured I'd start posting.
I have been trying my hand at this internet poker thing and I have a few questions. I know people say internet poker isn't rigged and In a lot of cases that may be true, but I've noticed on one particular site that it isn't really realistic. I was on that site and played about 100 freeroll tourney's. Nearly every hand was a straight or better to win. I'm just wondering if some sites are a little more realistic than others? I haven't really seen a site where i feel comfortable depositing for this reason.
I currently play a couple weekly tournaments at the local pub 1 being a cash game the other for points and and cash, the cash game averages 20-30 on 2-3 tables and the other over 100 on 11-12 tables. I also play a higher stakes monthly game with average 160 players.
I have a fair amount of experience as a real life tourney player the last 12 weeks I have won 7 of the cash tourney's and came 2nd 3 other times but I am having a little difficulty with the transition to online play.
Any advice on a realistic site that can help me with the transition to online play and where I can feel a little safer about making a deposit.

Hi masterlowping, welcome to BankrollMob. When I first started playing online I noticed a lot of bad beats. I think partly due to a lot of bad players and you see a lot of hands online. I see a lot of bad beats at Pokerstars and a lot of people call it jokerstars..But I don't know, I really like Pokerstars and still play there. I think it might be because I play tight and when I finally do play a hand, they call with junk and outdraw me and that gets me frustrated.
Anyway, I still recommend Pokerstars. Like the biggest pokerroom.

I dont believe either PS or FullTilt is rigged. But i have played on some sites that fore sure is rigged. Cant remember the name of the site, but everytime someone had KK there where someone else with AA. And u pick up KK And AA like 6-7 times in a hour.

Normally i would definately say onlinepoker isnt rigged, because everything that has to do with gambling is really under hard control. Do you mean eventually PitbullPoker talking about strange hands? I did notice that too, if you want to know where to deposit, i would allways recommend the bigger clients like PartyPoker Pokerstars and Fulltilt, in front of all Partypoker, not because they are more safe, but the players you find there.
