And Blom is still not on the list, why do you think that happens? Isn't he interested in this type of action. The winner of this tourney will for sure be remembered for a long time as the winner of the biggest first prize ever on a poker tourney. I think this will be a record difficult to beat. And my bet goes to... Patrick Antonius!

That is a lot of money, but these players have a multimillion dollar bankroll, so one million dollar is just a tiny fraction of their bankroll. They know how to manage their bankroll.

But not unexpected there'd be an event this big really - people love big money action.
Imagine being the first guy to hit the rails... tearing up just thinking about it
As for Blom - he's probably not got enough moolah to stake on one game - I think that guys swings are crazy. Plus he seems pretty shy and not that huge into live play.

This is great to see such a charity event for such a great cause. I might catch some of the live play since my wife and family will be in the near vincinity of the RIO the last week of June / 1st week of July. Just hope the wife will go for it.
No matter I will be watching this. I can't believe Ruffin bought in. I miss watching High Stakes Poker to even if I don't care to much for Ruffin. Shows he really cares though so I can't say to muchas a person great, his poker Hmm.

I don't know why but i think that Phil Ivey will also participate to this event if Full tilt poker will reopen by then and people will get their money back...
Still, looking at that list i think the best chances to take this is Erik Seidel, he is by far the most experienced.

you can think about extremely rich donks but dont think there will be scary money in this tourney, it's just too much for that. And the news don't say it, but the winner will receive another very nice prize besides the money: a platinum bracelet!
