Hey all I just wanted to inform yall of my interesting and exciting buildup over at Carbon poker, I started off in the 500 dollar freeroll for first depositers which won me a 2 dollar tourney entry I wont an 11 dollar tourney entry with that and a 60 dollar tourney entry with that I am now awaiting my 60 dollar tourney wish me luck.... anyone else have similar successes at Carbon?

I won a few of those tourney tokens with those entry freerolls but to be honest I still haven't done anything with them. I have 2 others coming my way for some promotion thing so I figured I'd wait til' I had them all seeing as a lot of those tournies allow rebuys.
That's very impressive, way to turn a freeroll into a high value tourney ticket. I hope your streak continues and you do awesome in that $60.

Sounds like a step system. I´ve played the freerol sng steps in the past- 3 steps and in the last step you can win 0ne buck. I like too the bounty tourneys in the merge network.

Love the bounties as well, my 60 dollar went flat lol.... was first eliminated big bets of 500 before the flop on my 9 10 suited....no idea why I called but I did and it comes 2-10-2 top pair turn is a 9 missing my flush but hitting two pair I bet a good amount 600 chips to be shoved all in not seeing anything but my 9 my ten and my busted flush draw I went for it and lost too 5-2 he had trips whole time (why in a 60 dollar highroller tourney is their still people playing 5 fucking duece for 500 chips preflop

I steer clear of the rebuy tournaments so sick of people with unlimited bankrolls just all in all in all in first hour of a tourney as they dont care how many times they need to rebuy before the hours out......fucking rigtards and their unlimited bankrolls

Unfortunately, that never happened to me, but tell me: the tourneys you played, they only paid you tickets, or also money? I am sorry for asking, but looks like you played a freeroll and you won a ticket to a tourney that gave you another ticket for another tourney… Hope you climb all the stairs till you reach “greenies”, you deserve it, for so much effort!

yes Carbon has a 500 dollar 14 day first depositers freeroll I placed in the freeroll twice now since signing up top 22 pay a position in another tourney top 3 are a little cash and an entry to the 109 tourneys.... it was all for nothing I raped some good points with the play but no greenies.... I find the most telling predictor of success and loss on online poker is folding the monsters when your beat any time I have gone far in a couple hundred person tourney its through folding hands that I never wanted to fold

Oh no, so you didn't place in that $60 one? That sucks but there will definitely be other opportunities for big scores so don't be discouraged. And I agree the re-buy thing can be annoying, it changes the strategy of the game so you have to change your approach too.

I play at Carbon and been considering the attempt to play the step tournies that just started, but haven't stopped playing in the SnG's long enough to even read about them. I assume your talking about the step tournies that just started yesterday, but I could be wrong. I just noticed they started the WSOP step tournament yesterday so that's what I'm thinkling about venturing into.
At leaset you started off with placing in the freeroll so you could start playing in them. That's great and good luck!

ya no im just talking about satellite tourneys theres a tab for them and they start as little as 1 dollar and you work your way up through the ranks 1-2 tourneys win you an 11 dollar seat and there is sometimes as many as 10 guaranteed paid and the eleven dollar tourneys take you to a 60 a 60 dollar too a 109- or 215 that sort of things but Ivve been eyeing the WSOP one too lol
