I think you may have misread my posting (maybe my turn of phrase was a bit awkward).

I suppose you took my post to mean that some members that have signed up, shouldn't have. I definitely do not feel that way, as I probably would qualify as one of the least deserving of a spot...
Value would be added if some of the match-ups reflect some of the clashes we've had on the forum, or if some of the stronger, well-known forum members match-up. I would pay some MobPoints to see this happening, and if more of us would, that would make for a nice side-game prize-fight...

maybe after a few of these (if they are successful) we should have a champion of champions hu tourny. then that will get the desired match ups you mentioned.

PS, I was thinking of same sort thing early last year, I was going setup on Home games but i used all my home games up (only can make two (limit) i was told after i deleted 3rd to make this head2head league but couldn't ) any way I was planing on 3 leagues (The Three Logo's in thumbnail) with different formats (i could tell you but then id have kill U (JOKE )

Remember i play low/micro stakes, so whoever plays HU against me will have to be in these conditions. We aren't trying to make money with the game itself, only mobpoints if reaching 1st and 2nd. so, if it would be possible to play it in "play money", it would be equal, because what is in question is the prize BRM will give to the winners. Anyhow, how will we do the raffle?

There’s still no info about time and place. Any Saturday afternoon (beginning 18h00 WET) would be great to play those HU. I need to have schedule and place very well defined in advance to this HU event because now I only have money in one site, which may mean I can only play there. I still didn’t get it how do you want to go over with this HU in terms of buy-ins, if my opponent wants me to go against him to count for this in a $5 or $10 buy-in HU, that’s a bit more than I was expecting to spend. I am thinking more about a low or a micro buy-in HU. Don’t know if it is possible in some room to create our own private HU and inviting someone for that private game without having to pay nothing as buy-in. That would be the best way to do this. And I guess I can play the all three in a row, if my opponent accepts that. Somehow can’t imagine one of these games taking more than 45 minutes to end, at least with someone against me (I am already scaring possible opponents but this is just strategy, don’t let Sexton read this or he will come here to start scolding me).

i Seen you saying that you can play where ever people want to but have you forgot not many places will do freeroll HU tourneys because i doubt its that common, im not going to bet my nuts on it but i think it will prob only be pokerstars in the home games you can do this type of game for a freeroll and even then not to sure
Then again im sure you checked this im just saying incase you forgot to find out first

I think the format retribution is suggesting is quite simple and because only two people need to agree the time and place of each play off it will be fine.
Bwin poker for example offers heads up sngs for real and play money. As long as the two players going head to head know each others account names they can find each other and register to the same sng. Arrange a day and time before hand and hopefully other brm members will seek the sng out to watch. Do this three times and then report back to the forum.
This is not a HU tourney but a series of HU sngs and so it should be easy to organize for anyone to participate. You will probably need to be fairly flexible with your free time though as you need to find a suitable time that you can both attend within three days.

Just to throw in my preferences, I'll play it on any of the sites I've got downloaded which are, PP,PS,888,carbon. But I was thinking is this gunna be turbo or not? I'd prefer it if it was with it being HU. Oh yeah aswell pretty much any time is good for me, anyday.

Like I sad, I can play for whatever buy in (to 15$), and I have pokerstars home game club if someone wants to play play money HU. I can play real money games on PKR, ipoker, 888, marge (only 1$ games there) along with PS. Pair me up. And, no, I dont want Jess Im sure he would bust my ass in crazy way
