Looks like there are some new results to update here. I still don’t know who is going to play against me in the quarters, but I hope that I can study my opponent before next weekend; at that time (May 5 or 6) I would already like to start playing this new level of the BRM HU Championship! Don’t forget to update your results here so things can keep going!

wow taking longer than I would have guessed for this to move along, harder to create 3 game sprees, may I suggest if this does happen again single game 6 seated--
6 seats set date n time (evening so everyone has option is probably best) more people perhaps 24? week long schedule for completion with no more than a day or two between games
anyways good luck all still sad I am out of the s**t

I was thinking the same thing when this tournament started , that an MTT would be much better , more people can play , and we can show our pokerskills , cause HU is a different game .

I think you will have to ask admin before running a new one. Cause if i remember righ,t he said that he will allow the first one to run, but didnt know if it will be something regular

For me, the mobpoints did not really enter into the equation.
The prize of 70% or 30% of 1600 mobpoints, is okay, but not the motivation for me to join in. The cost of 100 mobpoints, was not relevant either, since I've probably earned them back, just by posting in this thread.
I'm sure a lot of the participants play for more than that in a single game, so playing at least 8 games, for a share of 1600 mobpoints, is unlikely to be their motivation either.
My point is that even without a prize, we could still play for honor/fun/experience.
Btw, my motivation was HU experience, since I never played HU before. What better way than to play a bunch of people I've gotten to know (a little), and respect...
The suggestion of playing an MTT instead, is fine, but that's already covered by the BRM freerolls, isn't it?

Me too I'm gutted I went out on such a rush of blood.
Can't wait for the next tourney, hope there is one. I was thinking 4 max because its different, and easier to set up. But do it regional in the first round so its easier to set up with time differences etc.
----------
Retribution update OP please:
Me vs fakiry 1-2
Jess vs teddybears 2-1
Bullettooth vs marqis 2-0
---------
Just you and alex simion left to go in this round.

Sorry all for the long delay, yeah shits been pretty crazy, I've been driving in and out of town pretty much all weekend/week and it's hard to get 5 minutes to sit down in front of a computer.
To top it all off, my OS hard drive in my main PC took a dive, so I'm also without my work computer, which really came at a bad time. Hoping I didn't lose all my writing and whatnot, cuz I'll be so pissed off.
Unfortunately can't do the match tonight, as we're all doing a big family supper thing/cards/visiting hosptial, but I'm going to be working at home all afternoon tomorrow, so I'll have all day free.
It's 23:00 GMT here currently. which is 5pm my time. If 6:00GMT is 3am you're time, that means you're about 3 hrs ahead of me.
So let's say we'll do our matches at 23:00 GMT tomorrow, unless you object?
- Enter my Club ID number: 632101 - Enter my Invitation Code: BRMMEMBERS
Go ahead and join, and I'll check back later this evening and schedule it for 23:00 GMT tomorrow, unless that's a problem.
Again I apologize for all this, but hopefully we can get things rolling and finish this

I think some kind of buyin is nice - just so there's a prize at the end.. as well as bragging rights.. But I think the buyin can be fairly arbitrary- 20c / 100 mob points / whatever.
Next time I think we need a single PS-Home-Game club that we all join - and have multiple 'admins' in the club, as anyone who has been made admin can also then make games.
Whilst I don't obvject to an MTT or a SNG or something - keep in mind it's the flexible nature of the HU matches that has allowed me to play at all (from Aus).
I've otherwise missed all the other mob games that we've organised - due to timezone issues.

I actually made a small mistake with my time , 6:00 Gmt is 9:00 Am for me , but I can still do 23:00 Gmt , tommorow I'm free all day , so any time you want to play it's ok , I'll refresh this page tommorow , or I could join the home club , and when u decide to create the tournament I'll register and we can play anytime.
