ive had the same problem i reallythink online poker rooms favor the idiots who call anything. they should tighten there system up to favour good players

you really want to play freerolls to getyour starting bankroll ?
i would really recommend you to depsoit just 10 or 15$ and play 2c/4c limit.that your BR was at 400$ shows me that you can play and that you can win so it shouldn't be problem for you to beat the micros and i mean 10$ is not that much money. it will take weeks til you will make some money in freerolls. it is just not worth playing for 5 hours just to gain 2$
just my opinion

Happened to me on Everest... no wonder, when everytime one gets a good hand there are 4-5 peepz calling everything chances are one of them hits double in T/R. Thats the problem, everyone keeps saying "You DON'T WANT those idiots to fold" but i'd rather get the pot after the flop than having someone lucking me off the table Blink

Well,,,,,I agree totally with not playing cash games it takes a certain type of player to win on them!, and I sure aint 1 of them,,,from now on for more than 1 reason I am only playing tourneys mostly because I make a profit playing them and am barely breaking even on stgs ,,, Ok,,for the pro or semi pro or want to be pro stgs and cash games are the onlyway to go . If you can put in 20-100 hoursa week at this game and make a living or more I hold you in high regard , as for us mere mortals small profit or even break even will have to suffice.

if you have won that 400 at cd poker then most certainly that you can deposit again there and build a bankroll again. how fast did you lose the 400? you should have at least still followed some bankroll management even though the 400 was your winnings.

I agree as I have said in the past bankroll management is vital,,, but we all make mistakes and as a player who just blew half his hard earned tourney winings in 1 stoopid night lately I wont be preaching anymore on how others should mange there roll,,,,,,,just suck it up man and move on

Word. BR Management is crucial but also the one point i lack some discipline. happens just too fast Blink

Ah!!!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,discipline the main preaching point that you will find in 99% of poker schools and articles on how to play,,,yes wouldnt we all like to be the robots that some of them would have us be,,,,,,,but as was pointed out to me by reading a news article on cheating scams about robots,,,,you put them up against a seasoned pro and they loose,, ive put in a lot of hours now over the 16 months ive been playing and sure discipline is key to be a good player but pokers about more than that as I am sure you know,,,,,,,,,,,,,,anyway as I said suck it up and move on

Im sorry for your loss padod it's never easy Sad
I have to say the key word here is bankroll management if you were playing at correct level it would be allmost impossible to go broke in 1 day...with 400$ roll your maximum level is NL25 and when you are down to 200$ you could easily step down to NL10. Im not saying this to be smart but because I've build so many rolls and then lost them because of missing BRM. BRM is a necessary to build a roll and impossible to build a roll without. Nothing to do but get back on the horse Smile

i do normally use bankroll management but a player was taking the piss outta me cause he kept hitting on the turn and river so i went nuts and brought all my cash in and acted stupid so ano its my fault aswell but Sad

Tough luck dude. in any case i do have a solution on those tilt moments, when your opponents get into you, just unplug your computer and throw the power cable Big Smile get back when you have cooled off

Yeah I know exactly what you meen. It's allways at boiling point you make mistakes. Now that you made the mistake you can choose to learn from it or simply do it again. I did it 2-3 times before I realised if I wanted to do anything serious about poker I would have to learn how to control my self. Im not saying I allways play my A-game but now I stop when I realise im not playing my A-game, sitout or leave table and take brake. Try not to get personal it will only make you play worse....I switched of chat cause I can't take all the donk comments it really get's me tilting when donkey hits 2 outer and is being smart in chat afterwards.
It's the guys that suck you out that are profitable in the long run so we have to let the donks suckout once a while so they can afford to pay tomorrow and next day Smile

man i understand what your doing - i did the same thing. i had 450$ on Pacific (from the bankroll i got here) so was happy - cashed 120$ out and shoved it on carbon - there i just got miserably rivered and the luck completly went against me... i lost it and went back to pacific and decided to play high stakes - now back down to 5 dollars because was playing a 200$ heads up, winning and out playing the opponent when in starbucks the connection was lost and i went from 2300 chips to 150 when i got back - so yeah my case sucks even more, when your playing well and s**t like that happens :S back to 5 dollars:S:S:S

shiiiiit man! you played a $200 headsup and lost connecting in starbucks ? wtf that really sucks for you tbh. ask the owner to pay you back for your loses!

If you were playing on a MacBook Pro though, I'd not be surprised that you lost connection (macs suck!).

if you're sick of the unskilled opponents, then freerolls are DEFINATELY not the way to go.

the people who play freerolls are the most horribly unskilled players i've ever seen. they will call every hand, go all in with S**T, and ultimately, it's luck that will win a freeroll.

you're better off depositing the minimum amount the site allows, and playing low-limit games very tight, trying to SLOWLY build up your bankroll.

don't play high-limit games unless you can afford to lose them.
