I suggest start from zero. Learn basic poker theory for beginner ( conservative theory) . In fact that theory more effective to play micro or middle buy in. Start s n g first, if your percentage 60% ( 6 of 10 you win prize/ITM ) you could play MTT. Don't play at big site, start from small site first. For MTT I suggest Gear poker. For s n g , merge gaming, ex : Hero. Good luck, I wish you improve soon

since you have a pokerstars account, join there poker school online, also good games to play when your starting out is the 10 player FIFTY50. start with the $1.50 buyin. these games are good because half the field gets paid instead of the top 3. so when there is only 5 players left, the game ends, and players get paid according to how many chips they have. at the $1.50 level your paid $1.39 plus $0.04 for every 100 chips you have. Its best to start small.as you start to win move up to higher stakes,.

don't dismiss freerolls as a spot to learn. there are tons(almost completely full) of bad players in which you can develop a tight aggressive winning style. If you cannot beat the worst players in the game then there is little hope in beating players with more skill.

Your introduction was pretty good but please tell us a bit more about the game are you playing on pokerstars.

As you imagine the strategy for each game is different so we need more details to know where to start Smile

p.s Do you use an hud?

right now i am running fairly decent in the p***************e leaderboard at 933 spot overall(open league)....i know my basic poker theory, NLHE is the game i am very used to playing, so that is what i stick to playing, also i do not use a hud,

i tryed that .1.2NL cash games in pokerstars but that very little success, SNG1.509 man ive cashed about 5/10, , but noticed that my bankroll got smaller, as the days went on by surely i was missing something, as for mtt's i have gotten busted early on in the game, well typically i waited for starting hands like AK AQ AJ, KQ, P10's and higher and opened it up a bit some when i can get in the pot cheap
and never really had success ....well basically...i am stumped....

Dollar Dollar

------------
i am leaning toward finding a smaller site, and start freerolling, and scrap the thought of reloading my pokerstar account, but what sites are best for building a reasonable bankroll?....
