Skrill is the "new" name of Moneybookers.
They changed it sometime late last year, I think.

And yes, Fakiry, PKR works with Skrill, deposit/withdraws.
Only deposited once and hardly ever played there, so don't know how fast the withdraws on skrill are. Smile

I don't know about Skrill/MB withdrawals - But I've done 3 different types:

Bank transfer (they transfer to their Aus bank and then the aus bank transfers to mine) normally takes about 3 business days from when I request to when I have the funds avail in my bank.

BPAY (an aussie thing) pretty much exactly same as above.

Withdraw to VISA - takes about 2 business days from request to having the money

I had a few cashouts fo MB/Skrill for pretty low amounts (~$50) and some of them were paid instantly.
Otherwise plan with 2,or 3 days max..

^ Yeha - not surprsing - I am pretty sure I only wait 2-3 days because Australian banks d**k around heaps with this kind of thing.

PKR is really good - if I request a cashout I get an email straight away for confirmation - and then usually within a couple hours I get another saying my cashout has been approved and the payment has been processed - I would imagine with some of the eWallets this would mean same-day cashouts.

surely depends on VIP level too, they surely process them faster for higher tier players I guess

Yes, I think that is true. Although - PKR used to have a bit of a bad reputation for slow withdrawal processing - but they fixed that quite a long time ago now.

But yes, it's a security thing as well with VIP - people who are Gold+ level generally have been on the site for a while, have provided multiple documentation (bank statements, drivers licenses, etc) and have generally shown themselves to be above board.

Obviously with newer players - there's always going to be a delay on the first withdrawal - because you need to pass all the security stuff and it can drag on a little bit.. But once your account has been properly cleared and you've made a few successful deposits and withdrawals - then it is pretty quick.

But I do agree - probably a bit quicker when you're Platinum/Diamond - which is fair enough IMO.

Just a few small ones today

29 Jun, 2012 Turbo (6 Seater) NL Hold'em $1.50 2 of 17 $6.37
29 Jun, 2012 Shelley's Double Shot (8 Seater) NL Hold'em $3.50 1 of 69 $64
29 Jun, 2012 Graveyard Shift (6 Seater) NL Hold'em $6.00 5 of 57 $24

"funny story" actually... Last night, I got well and truly wasted and acted like a total degen on the $2/$4 tables and basically busted my roll.. Pretty annoying actually- I lost a 150bb(each) hand ($1200 pot) to a 3 outta on the river.

Anyway - it's not as bad as it sounds.. I had about $700 in my account - but see, I don't keep much in my account these days anyhow - specifically for this reason, most of my winnings I just withdraw - the way I figure, playing MTTs I don't really need to keep much on my PKR account, since I can use a VISA and deposit it back instantly, I might as well use my real bank account instead of using the poker platform as a bank account.

Anyway - so I busted it down to about $60 (which, as I say, doesn't really bother me, I've withdrawn plenty lately anyway)

But I figured for now I wont put any more money on. I'm owed around $450 worth of rake back at start of July, after todays cashes I've got about $100 on my account now (up from the $60 this morning).

Also- I have about 100K PKR points in my account - and PKR have just put generic tickets in the points shop - which is great - you can buy generic tickets for any $3, $6, $12, $20, $30....$100, etc and go into any games and they've standardised all the buyins.

So between the $100 i have left, 100K worth of points (which will buy me about $75 worth of entries) and also $450 in RB coming in the next week or so.. Hopefully I can hold off putting anything back on..

Generally speaking - I've been really good in regards to avoiding playing mid-high stakes ring games, but s**t happens and I'm glad I don't keep thousands in my account any more - because last night, after eating about 4mg of xanax and nearly a whole bottle of scotch, I have no doubt I would have easily burn't through quite a few thousand if it was sitting there.

So that is my tip of the day: Don't use you poker account as a bank account - leave as much on as you need to buy into whatever games you play, keep the rest in your actual bank account and if you need to, you can just put a bit back on. This will also protect from a FTP type disaster.\

Smile

10 cashes on July 1, out of curiosity, how many did you register in??? Sounds like you did a jessthehuman styles session.

I haven't had the chance to play in a 2-3 days unfortunately - or rather, I've had the chance, but I've been far too utterly wasted to even really be able to comprehend my computer screen, let alone click the poker buttons.

But planning a session for either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Also FYI:

They just brought out a new reload max $250 with $5 incremental releases at some really shitty rate

I sent an email to my VIP-Manager Jake and asked for an old-school one and he emailed my a $500 MAX one, where its all paid as a lump sum and it uses the old 250pts per $1 !! w00t

So, since you VIP - I know you dont play much any more - try emailing for a better offer - I think the minimum deposit for mine was $100

It was a 60 day offer though, so even if you went for the min $100 I'm sure you'd clear that in 60 days, that's only 25,000 pts... I do that in 1 day sometimes lol.

Doomdy, clarify me on one point please: you really dedicate your time to this room, right? You play so many tourneys from a large range of buy-ins, and you are only showing the good results, the “final table” ones, so you must be doing a minimum of six hours per day at PKR, am i right? I am just asking this because you prefer to show the value you got instead of explaining a little bit what happened in each tourney, so it turns difficult to comment on this, the only thing i can remembre after looking at your several posts with lots of winnings, some bigger than others, is: keep up the good work (but i don’t know the other side of the story).

No i play average 2hours a day, sometimes 4 sometimes zero.
I only play for fun nowadays, just to relax not grinding 6/7h a day like i did before.
