Italy did in fact surprised me, I think they played very well against Spain and deserved to win in what I consider the best game so far in Euro 2012. But of course, in the end, only Portugal will prevail

Italy always make surprises,and you should never say they are without chances to win any competition.That is my opinion after watching football for about 16-17 years.
Also glad Portugal manage to go to Qfinals,and that Cristiano finally scores

i think spain play greece in the next round so england won't be playing them, i'm not too sure about who can play england next though,could be germany or portugal i think. that's assuming england get through.

by last nights performances i dont think england will have a problem against either spain or italy in the quarters. both teams have been pretty poor. especially spain last night. i think croatia should of won that one but they had useless strikers. that guy should of buried his free header.
i think all england need to worry about is germany in the semi-finals. replay of euro96. hopefully wont turn out the same way tho.
