Has anyone ever had the mis-fortune of having their money stolen by a poker site ? The site i was playing on (Kingdom of poker) ignores all my e-mails and now wont let me log in .I think they have shut ,although Bankroll mob still advertise for them !! Does anyone have any advice or know a legal route i could pursue to try to recover my money ? The site was licensed in Costa Rica ,and from what i have read online the the Costa Rican government are quite happy to issue these licenses but accept no responsibility when things go wrong I know about the Full Tilt situation and was wondering if anyone ever got their money back from them ? Any help would be much appreciated

Help but no like help. Cos my suggestion is forget it and start new one like mober said.Since start Kingdom of Poker look like no have good future.Too complicated if you take care about it. Just waste your time and need cost, too ( maybe ).
I googled them when I got my NDB. They've been around for awhile...not always up n' running. I asked them about their grand opening in '06 and they denied it They got their NDB back and haven't been there back since. Sorry for the loss, bet it's save to say their support is not responding In a similar situation at another small site. I made a min deposit and didn't take the bonus...took profit twice. So my roi went well. Still have a balance there so I check on them from time to time. If I remove the software I won't be able to redownload the client until their server is up. I can get in this way. If I can't cash out the balance now I'll wait til I can. As far as K of P, went with my gut, I con empathize here, and am not surprised. Read a book on online poker awhile back and one of the suggestions is to always take profit if one wins anything playing poker online. Find it good advice for the smaller lesser know sites out there. Hope all turns out well.

As for FT, I have never received my cash back. Although it's not a lot (less then $300) I still worked hard to get that much in my BR.
I've never played on Kingdom Poker so I have no good advice. I know you can't turn them in to the BBB (better Business Bureau) since they're located in Costa Rica. I guess your best bet is to try staying in touch with their gaming affiliates, if they have any. Also, was Kingdom part of a larger affiliation like Merge has several networks, maybe you could verify that and get in touch with them. Sorry I'm not much help in this area.

Once I build a bankroll in a online poker site at Costa Rica, called casineto, don't know if it still exists or not. It was very easy to build a BR there, lots of freerolls with few players and big prizes. I tried to cashout less than 200$, changed a lot of e-mailes asking for that money and always receive an answer that the process was running. After a month waiting my e-mailes were ... let's say stronger . And then, I put a lot of posts about the situation in several poker foruns and send the links of those posts to the support, saying I'll continue to do it until I die. It worked !! They didn't killed me and I got my money

I haven’t heard of Kingdom of Poker shutting down. I played a little game there about two weeks ago, but i think i only have $0.50 there, and it’s what’s left from the no deposit bónus request from BRM, so i am not that worried, although, if you had profits there, that may mean you are now far from getting your hands on it. GL on solving this problem mate. You did well in alerting the BRM community for this issue.

i agree with serpang..try renowned sites like poker stars..or partypoker(you can get the no-deposit bonus from BRM)..pokerstars wil never l bankrupt..they answer e-mails very fast and they have no reason to steal anything..and you can begin answering the intellipoker quiz ..and there r alot of freerolls..
