I'd just be at every WSOP, EPT, and UKIPT event possible, it would be an all year round pretty hardcore schedule with a few holidays to the Caribbean and Amsterdam mixed in. Or the PS Caribbean adventure to hit two birds with one stone Then after I've doubled Phil Hellmuths record in the WSOP and made an unbeatable record in the EPT and UKIPT I'd retire and become a Buddhist monk/ninja. (Its never going to happen)

I would be away from all the stuff i usually do. That includes poker, besides a friendly live game with friends a relatives. Then it would be vacation,vacation,vacation And of course small investments too, to get an income, cause nothing lasts for ever

Oh, very interesting question. First of all, say nothing to anybody. When you say you have some money your ability to make friends grows up a lot! Secondly, I would start playing in higher limits but keeping always in mind bankroll management. And month by month I would withdraw little amounts of money to complement the normal salary.

I won't win the Euros since I live in the U.S., but I play the lottery every week here and I just started playing it about a year ago. I decided I might as well spend a few dollars to try as opposed to saying "if I ever win the lottery".
Anyway when I win I will be traveling around the world a little more then what I get to now and, it won't be for work, it will be for enjoyment. My Father-in Law actually won 112,000.00 so I feel there's actually a chance where as I used to think there wasn't.

if i ever win big on the lottery then me and the mrs would be off on a long holiday,at least 6 months going round the world enjoying ourselves. then when we got back we'd try and give some money to relatives and kids,then whatever we had left decide what we were going to do with it.

Can't see winning it - but you never know!! Like Teddybear me and the missus would be on a long holiday - six months at least - not sure if we would be going in the same direction tho!! haha
I would have a go at the major on-line events see how my luck goes and perhaps try out Vegas ME 2013.

if i won a million in lottery, and this cash could only be used for poker- then i would do the following- put all the cash in the bank and play only from interest- this way i would have a constant amount of cash to play stress free- in general i wouldn't want to use more than 10% of my lottery winnings for gambling purposes

Really? Have you ever thought how to withdraw $1M without paying taxes?? If you do it, at least here in Spain you should pay the 56%, so with half a million is impossible to do nothing at all.

Here is a point that much people doesnt talk about, but its very important.
How much your willing to put on your gambling addictions??? 10% of a million its 100.000€, dont you think its a lot of money??? I could use 10% but not just for p+laying poker, for poker maximum 25.000€ and the rest i would try to put on betting sites, for football and tennis bets. Actually i would use it more to learn how to use money in betting sites! Poker its just too hard to win now!!!

You should play in the UK, Lottery winnings aren't taxed.

First thing I'd buy is a new house and car. Then go somewhere crazy with my girlfriend, like Europe or South America. Would have a LOT of sucking up to do to her, to convince her to let me blow some $ to play in the 2013 WSOP events.
Oh, and throw some bucks in an account for my kids college fund of course lol.

A deeply religious man, finds himself in dire financial trouble. He prays earnestly to his God to help him out of his predicament. "God, I'm about to lose my car. Please help me. Let me win the lottery." Lottery night comes, but sadly, Dave is not the winner.
Things go from bad to worse. Without a car to get to work, Dave loses his job. Without a job, his mortgage is foreclosed on, and he loses his home. Without a home, his wife leaves him, taking the kids. After each horrible step in the mounting crisis, he pleads with God to let him win the lottery, but he never does.
Finally, broke, hungry, living on the street, he tries again. "God, please, my life is a wreck. I have no car, no home, no family. Please let me win the lottery just this once so that I can turn my life around. I beseech you."

Are you joking damessiah? It depends on what life you are planning to do. Even with 500.000 Euro i can retire and be on vacations for as long as i want. The majority of the people world wide dont even make this money untaxed from the day they start working till the day they die, with pensions and stuff in.

Lottery in Spain isn't taxed as well but poker is not lottery. If you withdraw $1M in your account, the taxman will be very glad to visit you.

I wasn't thinking of a luxury life, of course. Oh yes, you live in Greece, it's cheaper, but anyway ... I think you are exagerating. If you don't earn $500,000 in all your life it means you earn less than 17,000$ a year. Well ... with all my respects ... I was earning more money as a ice-cream seller when I was a teenager.

I've been to Greece and Spain, it might have been 10 years since I went to Greece and 8 years since I went to Spain but from what I can remember neither of them were particularly cheap, both about the same. The only thing which was cheap was beer. For one reason, British tourists who drink about 100 pints a day when on holiday (and when they're at home most of them.)
